You forgot the main thing, you must really believe it works for it to be effective.

It's failing because the users didn't believe enough

Don't let these people forget they pushed a dangerous and untested drug onto their family members.

Well most who matter disagree. Allthough I firmly believe that a lot of treatment related news will be supressed but read the language used against each option carefully in below news/view story. Everyone is loosing from HCL apart from some goodwill its giving to India, despite that its there as most effective so Far. Lets just say that manufacturers of HCL can not afford a study fee nor do they care. You want, use it. Get treated and come out and say in media that it u don’t know if HCL worked ( Case of Tom Hank and partner)

^ Exactly. Every research and study will show a stats that HCL fails. That will be advertised and published in various media outlets. But will you listen to those or doctors who are successfully treating people with HCL. You can listen to misinformation or do listen to medical advise.

PS: Doctors are giving HCL as precautionary to Dharawi residents. I just hope Indian media doesn’t jumps into this anti Trump misinformation campaign which is solely down to upcoming US elections.

The batshittery of you people knows no bounds.

Everything is a conspiracy then you share Laura "On the wrong side of everything" Ingraham. The woman who hasn't even accidentally been correct about any subject ever.

Anyway. Luckily we can move away from Hydroxychloroquine. Dr Trump has moved onto a new treatment. Can you guys please start following his latest advice as precaution please.

:hysterical: What did I do?  I have doubted medical advice from Trump, but he or you or me are not doctors. Each doctor has a medical theory on treatment. Some have been convinced about HCQ and some have other ideas

So they didn't want an easily available cheap drug to help save lives, how nice.

This vaccine rush by companies like AstraZeneca & Serum institute of India is suspicious as hell. They are already claiming some hundred million doses will be ready soon even before the trials have been properly carried out.

There is a competition who gets the vaccine out first. A Chinese company's vaccine is already in trial phase. Total 120 vaccine candidates in working.

In this situation, it is imperative that the doses be ready if the trials work out; it will save precious time.  People are willing to invest and take this risk.  Hopefully it won't cloud their judgement.

On the contrary, it is scientists (and not Google University grads) who raised concerns and got the papers retracted.   This is how science works.  People publish.  Sometimes they publish junk.  They get called out and retract.  Eventually it shakes out.  This is why media and public must not jump on any treatment/vaccine until proper trials are run and risk/benefit is clear.

As for HCQ, the positives have been hyped by one group of researchers.  Trial after trial have shown no positive effect.  On the other side, extreme negative effects have been hyped by Dr. Sapan Desai and his co-authors.  It turns out these papers used bad data generated by Sapan Desai's company and got called out.  S*** happens.  Science is self-correcting.

Bleach therapy, on the other hand ....

How many types of doses will be kept ready in what quantities ? How many billions of dollars are ready to be drained by these manufacturers and who's compensating for that ?

I am not condemning science here. But Big pharma companies manipulating policies based on fraudulent data. This has always been the case, since medicine has improved mortality rates, as it is big business. During a pandemic where time is of essence, such actions will cause more deaths. Who knows those who didn’t get HCQ would probably have recovered. Involving WHO in this fraud is criminal too. Plus Lancet has gone postal with their political leanings and statements. What business has a medical journal commenting on CAA or Modi’s fascism? TheM getting involved to divert HCQ out of treatment options seems political to hurt India.
