Does not make sense to compare India with the rest on these parameters . While rest of countries have their best players playing barring 2-3 palyers , For India its 96 players - most of them are not international level . 

may be taking top 15-20 india players may make some sense . Not that they will beat ENG players ! 

ENG players might not have scored a lot but God they look scary if they are in form . They have the plan & game to defeat the plans of opposition team , plan to overcome even  good spin bowling and affected by Pace .  

Only quality swing/seam & high class spin can deter them which is in short supply.

Wow. England went from having no one big in LOI apart from KP and zero IPL presence to dominating the tournament.

Apart from Archer, which English player actually had impact. Stokes in a game or two, same with Bairstow then got dropped. Butler wasn't as effective.

At one time there was Jayasuriya, Dilshan, Mahela, Sanga , Mathews, Maharoof, Mendis, Dilhara, Murali and a few others.

There is still James Vince, Dawid Malan, Wood who could be brought in...especially with a couple of new teams coming in.

They are the West Indies of previous editions, where each team used to have one in their line up.

CSK should look to bring Kusal Perera over Watson...  I think he'll be a great addition.  Rituraj & K Perera can form a deadly duo at the top.  Faf at 3.

Banton flopped in PSL as well where he finally got dropped. He was horrible with the bat on Asian wickets. Looked like fish out of water in few matches he batted this IPL. Probably he likes to bat on wickets in England and OZ which have pace.
