What a badass dude! Loved his attitude yesterday. Every ball he bowled was exciting to watch either it was a lose ball that got smacked or it was something that took the Aussies by absolute surprise. Kohli ruined his momentum at crucial times but damn he was packing steam right about then.

Even in the last over he got smacked for 2 6’s in his first 3 balls but kept his composure and made sure an on fire  Maxwell couldn’t connect the next 3.

Loved his furious fast bowler attitude and in your face aggression. This kids got swagger.

He is only going to get better. Yes he is inexperienced and might get tonked here and there but when he will be on steam he will be the most exciting thing to watch. Get on the fan train. as Saini himself would say F it...just bowl fast.

He will be out of the odi team soon. Mark my words. He is not a spring chicken too if he were 19-20 could have hoped for a better future. But times up. New run machine.

Dude stop blaming Kohli for every tom dick and harrys failure. He wouldn't have gotten so many chances in IPL if he were under any other captain.

All this talent pace etc talk is useless. Where are the results. He goes for as many runs as thakur or varun arron or umesh.

What next global warming is caused ny kohli?

Kohli was giving 2 over spells in a 50 over game. Now tell me have you ever heard the term on commentary  “fast bowlers building momentum”? Kohli’s captaincy was dumb, uninspiring and moronic. Good luck to young (age or experience wise) folk flourishing in this side.

Im not talking about this match alone.

What exactly has he done in any of the odis or in ipl? U see his economy average.. U know the stats that matters?? Bowling one good spell here or there his fans goo wowwww we have a pace sensation here.

Truth is he has always been trash. 3 poor balls every over and he will continue to get thrashed every time he bowl

Not a fan, just checking who are..I mean he is bowling gun-barrell straight with no extra bounce with no control, there is nothing in his bowling to be impressed. Didnt look good in IPL as well. Bowls half valleys at the start, high full tosses in the end. Not enough bouncers to look hostile and push the batsman back. He was a better bowler in the domestic scene hitting the top of off with his lengths, his RCB stint has made him avg fast bowler looking to bowl quick but with no control.

Cant be bothered about seeing him in tests, fielders will be chasing leather all day long.

How old is this guy Saini again. 28 , he looks lost , other than having having so called pace what the heck has he got. I don't think his pace is that great either. So all this clamoring about Saini not getting chances where as Thakur is getting so many chances.Thakur atleast can hold his bat, what has Saini done to show  he can be effective. He has very very iffy in IPL also.

Samething will happen with Siraj once he plays test cricket. That guy will be slaughtered with his 128k deliveries on these flat pitches. There is nothing great about these two guys.

He has been guilty of bowling of half volleys but when he gets it right, batsmen have been a little rattled with his pace. Even guys like Finch,Warner were a little bothered by his pace. They have the confidence of playing at home, flat pitch and also won the first game and on top of that they see an inexperienced

rookie they target him a lot more.

If you saw him bowl live, he was pretty good with his intensity and composure despite being hit around. He looks like he belongs at this stage.

You think Thakur can bat? Then what about this. Saini averages 92 in ODIs, batted in 4 innings, dismissed only once with te highest of 45. So he too can bat. But it's not the batting, for him bowling matters more and will have to bowl better than what he is doing this series. Pace is also not up to the mark.

Didnt Thakur win one match with his batting. I am not saying Thakur is great. People were cursing on why Saini was not given chances. Same thing with Siraj, he should tank his lucky stars that he did not play these last two odis .

India plays too much cricket .These fast bowlers will get their chances like how Saini has got his chance, Siraj might get his chance in tests. They all have Umesh Yadav Syndrome, they will give one boundary ball every over even in tests.

If pitches are like this in tests also then these guys are in for long long summer.

For some people players not playing suddenly become either Bradmans or Marshall.

There is nothing called perfect cricketers everyone evolve with time. When shami n bhuvi came they had their set of issues but they evolved..same with batsman like rohit kohli n dhawan. U think our new set of batsman like gill n co wwud be perfect and wont have their issues.

This what good teams do they find right talent invest in them and when they hit their peak they give return on investment.

U think mavi, tyagi or nagarkotti wont have issues....everyone will have some , some will have some will have huge issues. It all depends how they evolve. He has so many positives about him that needs to be seen also he brings something different to this attack which is very important. Also he is currently the best in next line of bowlers. Unless 2-3 prove themsleves better by then stick with him and notice the improvements. From the day he came in i saw his yorkers have improved a lot, he can bat a bit as well very useful in our tail.

He has been suffering from back spazm , back is very essential for a quick bowler so i dnt wanna judge him on this series.

Why are they even picking him for ODIs? I thought he was being saved for the test matches when they picked Natarajan as his standby.
