Suhaan Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Going by this he is not far away from triple ton against them in Tests,we should play him in tests purely as a batsmen Jokes apart he is invaluable to this side, let him innovate improve and prosper as much as possible express bowling 1

Real McCoy Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Given his form now, I'm even tempted to play him in tests. His maturity is underrated because of how he acts off the field. His MoM speech today was impressive. When Warne asked him that we used to call jadeja as rockstar and now you seem to fit under that category. He didn't fall to false pride and said I'll let jadeja keep that name and I'm a dad now. Seems his marriage has got him matured. Hope Kohli follows suit from his soon to be fatherhood duties zen 1

His bowling action with his lean body means back issues. Ask some bowler with back injury, he will say its the worst any bowler can face. He needs to remodel his action to not put further stress on the back probably reduce pace. But from what I've been seeing, he is a decent no.6 bat in tests. can see off the 2nd new ball and also play an attacking innings if the batting does well. He has to beat Vihari though as Vihari hasn't put a step wrong. Pandya can play the role of a Kallis or Watson like bowl a few off pace deliveries when he gets ready not allow easy runs while the main bowlers are waiting for the 2nd new ball.

Dont worry he ll back to bowling , right now they are remoudling his action. It was that mixed action that was causing him injuries. Pollock pointed this out long ago that he needs to tweak his action or else he ll get injured Real McCoy 1

For all of Pandya's "style" and vibe, he's always been a dead serious cricketer on the field. Next time watch his face and demeanor when he's at the batting crease. Regardless of match situation. Man is switched on and focused. He has that look on his face like that lead actor in Satya did. Right before he slit somebody's throat. Real McCoy, Swag and Serpico 3

And a fighting 80-odd for India A in a 4 day game in Australia when the team was 50/5 or something. Kid is a useful option in test cricket -provided he's fully fit and bowling well.
Cricketics Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 He was brilliant today, and throughout this series. Best batsman by far for India in this series. express bowling and Real McCoy 2

Even I haven’t hyped Rohit’s cycle agarbatti award as much as that pointless 90 in SA :)) Before you start a cat fight, no place for Pandya in tests. In LOi’s will be my 4 th name after Rohit,Virat and Bumrah. That isn’t a new tune, I have said that every single time.

Being a faithful worshipper of Mr. "Come to India" who probably shat more turds than he scored test runs there. zen 1
