Saini ruining his chances of selection. Bowling to right handers from round the wicket without any close in catching men on the leg side. Also throwing in some wayward dollies intermittently. Needs to settle into a decent line and length and needs to do it soon.

Saini is just too inconsistent.  Always bowls couple of hit me balls every over.  He just struggles to keep bowling on the same spot.  Don't think he'll Start the Pink ball test.  It's between Siraj & Umesh now.

both teams agreed to draw the match with 15 overs still remaining. Good decision to not tire out the bowlers any further

 

I guess today's performance shows downside of 4 pacer strategy. Even with a pink ball, there will be long periods without much happening for pacers, we need a wicket taking spinner to get some break throughs during that period

As I mentioned  time and again.. Saini is Craaaaaaap... And people were quoting me and insulting me for stating the obvious 

 

Saini, varun aaron, umesh yadav these ppl will never learn. Umesh atleast is useful in asia.. Others are just gun barrel straight and will be smashed to oblivion if played in test. Expect figures of 25 - 0 - 125 - 0 

 

Now watch how posters will somehow turn it into team management's fault

Neither should play. We need someone like Siraj who can take wicket with new ball and keep it tight ball after ball. Most sessions in Austrlia will be flat, we need someone who can keep pressure and not someone who will be carted all over the ground

Bhai nobody cares about these warmups, just to get into the groove and avoid niggles/injuries. In 1967 East Zone led by our legendary football captain Chuni Goswami beat Sobers' WI at full strength. After that WI crushed our Pataudi led national side. In 1998 Mumbai hammered ATG Aus within 3 days, national teams don't go at full tilt in these encounters.

Yeah, I know that .... In the context of the game, I am praising the Aus A side without any major Aus player and noting the performance of team Ind with many regulars and where many players are also playing for their places (trying to impress)

 

A couple of young Aus players have got injured in the two warm ups with “FC status. We can even consider the possibility that if Aus A “cared”, it could done better including winning the game
