This sort of thing happens 1/500 times. Even worst batting display means you get 50+ runs. Today was just a freak day. Pak had their share of * ups but lowest I think was 48 in RSA against peak Steyn, in Sharjah Pak managed 53, 59. Not that much of a difference between 36, 50, 60, just a few lucky hits by a #10.

That Pak team in SA was one of the worst. Same about the Sharjah one. This India team is supposed to be the top in world

Depends upon pitch. On a minefield, Jaddu and Ash can do this but in return Lyon would eat us alive bowling out us within 30 odd runs.

But it was about the pitch too. SA got out on 90 as well in their innings. Here there was literally nothing in the pitch. 200-250 is pretty good for pink ball

Can get their top order but their tail will add minimum 50 runs on any pitch. Don't forget starc has 99 in india and 50+ odd on that rank turner pune wicket. Cummins hasn't batted alot in india else he can score 20 - 30.

The pitch did quicken up & ball started seaming in the first session, of course not as much as that SA test. If you're bringing that 90 A/O up then you must also know that the pitch didn't change as much between that SA innings & Oz who collapsed to 21/9 straight after. There is simply no excuse for this BS performance, neither for that *up by Oz especially when the conditions aren't that alien to them!

To bowl an opposition under 50 ,not just needs great bowling but utter ineptitude in batting from all the players all at once.

In modern games there have been very few teams to have a combination of such jokers banded together at same time in the same team.

what you are witnessing is an indian team that might not be assembled ever again for a long time as far as dumb fkn ability added in with doses of fake bravado that vanishes when things get tough.

 

Short mein NO,because even the worse of australian team will have atleast one player who will end up scoring atleast 30-40 runs to save them some embarassment.

Not for 36 but around 90-200 is possible. We did get SA, with Amla, AB and FAF, for 79 a few years back. They were 10/5 but JPD showed some guts.

From 75-5 they scored 191.Paine scored at a s/r of over 70.He could have easily bogged down as the superstars before him struggled but no he attacked and got them out of jail.What did our jokers do ? Pissed and shat in their pants once a couple of wickets fell.
