Comfortably best in the world..  Excellent keeper & good batter with solid back foot game.  Played some thunderous square cuts today.  I like players who have good horizontal bat strokes.  Always succeed overseas.

Best in the world? That too comfortably?

DeCock is certainly better. Perhaps Butler, BJ Watling too

Butler dropped so many catches when Pak toured.  BJ is good but his form has dropped.  Kock has potential..  Great talent fast reflexes as well.  Let's see.

Rizwan successful in Aussie tour 90 odd in Gabba & then good in England tour & then here in NZ.  Glove work wise he is indeed a beast.  What more do you need?

Good in test cricket. Not a white ball player although he played well in last t20. One good knock at Gabba doesnt make him best. He played well today. Watling, DeCock are well ahead of him. Even Sarfaraz was good during initial years and was hailed for his positive attitude. As usual Pakistani hyped him and then were asking for his head when he was made captain and sucked as captain as well as batsman. Same will happen with this guy.

He has lot of energy on field unlike sleepy faced sarfu. Can get under the skin of batsmen with his constant blabbering. Has a lot of heart as a batsman, not a mental midget who throws his wicket away under pressure. Great keeper who will not waste bowlers hardwork

Any team would love have him in tests right now.. but he should continue this form some time

Lol at the best in the world. But definitely one of the most underappreciated Pakistani batsman. I think Pakistan cricket wasted atleast 2-3 years on that hack Sarfaraz by playing him ahead of Rizwan.Rizwan is one of the few Pakistan batsmen who actually knows the art of batsmanship.

But because Pakistanis have special liking for tullaybaaz hitters, he is not that loved.

Because Pakistan hopes for heroes and special players, special talents who will do the magic and that pushes players over the edge also.

Genuine hardworking players are ignored.

Ajmal played so long with shoddy action and someone like Yasir Shah who could do same job as Ajmal with legal action was ignored for long time.

Fawad Alam is probably only Pakistani batsman with 50+ (56 actually) avg in FC and he didn't get  many matches. It's not that their line up was full of great batsman.
