Rishabh pant looks like the pressure player we have been looking for

Recommended Posts

He looks like man of pressure, many u need someone with technique to calm the storm well i think its the temperament anyways technique is a word most dont understand perfectly . Gilly was another guy who made runs in all 3 Wc finals , pant falls in similar category of player. If u wanna do well in LOI in pressure games have such players even if they are inconsistent .

  • Avg of 64.75 in 4th innings and guess what he has only batted overseas in 4th innings
  • made a brilliant 100 in england
  • Made runs in Semi Final
  • despite being out of form in IPL this yr made runs in Final
  • Made 97 today

He is a special player invest invest invest

People will not understand, they will want him to stay like Dravid and maintain a strike rate like Pandya/Russell etc

They will have 6 failures and 4 match winning knocks out of 10,but players like him will win you games singlehandedly

You can't have too many accumulators, consolidators in a xi

No wonder, they go after Pandya as well,i say the same for him

Have patience

Pant is a special player. Give him the freedom to play his natural game. Yes he will get out cheaply sometimes but when he clicks he will win games. Let that be his role. We have other guys who can play the long game.

It's opposite. He rarely gets out cheaply unlike other batsmen in the team. He is not a hit or miss type batsman so far in tests.

He has overcome the PR campaign by the insecure megastars and the ruthless scrutiny  by the media and ex players at such a young age without loosing his mind . That speaks for his ability to take pressure. Hats of to Pant .:hatsoff:

indeed!
