Hardik is a power hitter and that is the role assigned to him in the last few overs of LOIs.

hasan ali is a better bowler and thakur batting is better 

hasan is a lappebaaj (which is fine)

 

If i have to choose one it ll be hassan ali , even without his batting i like him as a bowler in itself

We never had a genuin all arounder like Kapil since very long time. what is wrong with developing one from the resources we have? The failed experiment of I Pathan could happen again but it has been decades since india produces a Kallis level  fast bowling allrounder. Hell, we can't even have a good left arm seamer, all we have is Sir undercut. 

My point is why BCCI can't make effort to develop a fine allround from the batsman we have.  Give them a tranning for bowling and see which one can fit.

For South Africa tour, all 3 - Bhuvi, Chahar, Shardul need to be in the mix. Ishant and Shami are done. Hope Saini, Avesh and Siraj are all asked to work on batting. Most importantly, just the technique to duck/sway against the short ball.

Shardul is far and away the best available candidate.

Agree - Bhuvi only if he is fit. Chahar seems to have control, perhaps he can be back up to Shardul. The alternative is that if Shardul is not fit and there are no back ups, we end up playing Ishant.

 

What I hope is that young seamers realize what an edge batting ability could provide to their case. If enough seamers start working on their batting, I am sure we will see more options in the next 2-3 years.

Chahar in SA ??? Naaa 

Only in england thats it as horses for courses kind 

 

For SA, Wi, Aus....ill prefer bowlers with pace, height, who hits the deck hard - prasidh , avesh (in england i wasnt much i. Favour of two ) 

 

 Siraj , shami , bumrah, avesh, prasidh and ishant, bhuvi if improves fitness will be a very good attack. 

 

Saini n warrier shud also be in picture for these places may be in extras

I would really like Prasidh to actually play test matches, not just be in the mix.

 

He is a low average pacer in FC cricket. Plus he is 6'2" or more and gets steep bounce at 140 k+. Seams the ball both ways and gets outswing.

 

We really need a couple of such pacers. 

 

I hope Kartik Tyagi plays the full Ranji season in 2021-22.  He is the real deal.
