Varun Chakravarthy is not an international standards cricketer

The sooner that this guy gets found out, the better for Indian cricket. These "mystery" spinners are only good for a few matches until they get found out and then get smashed as club bowlers. We should rather be investing in proper wrist spinners rather than a mystery guy like Varun.

Why judge him so early. As long as he retains his mystery till the completion of WT20 and it helps us win the WC, its is a good selection in my opinion. Would you actually prefer Chahal over him.

Comes across as a fan just happy to be there. Worst body language for a cricketer I have ever seen. 
 

Having said that, might be useful especially against gora teams in UAE. Don’t think he will be a threat even against Afghan,SL and Bangladesh. Poyz well they can collapse against anyone but I think guys like Hafeez,Malik (is he there?) etc won’t have any difficulties against him.

Chahal is a much much better bowler than him

No he won't 

He is not better than their spinners such as Adil Rashid, Adam Zampa, Ish Sodhi and Tabraiz Shamsi. The gora teams are used to batting against their own world class wrist spinners who are miles ahead of this guy. 

There is no way they will fail against this guy's "mystery". These types of bowlers are only good for 1-2 seasons of IPL until even domestic Indian batsmen figure them out and hit them all over the park

Farce Thread, VC is a decent prospect, much better than Phony talents like Shivam Dube, Vijay Shankar, etc, he has good temperament and can be quite handful in UAE conditions.

specially while chasing when RRR keeps getting high , mystery spinners can be a nightmare . He took his fifer also while defending in IPL

For this very purpose he's been chosen,even if it lasts for 4-5 matches its enough to bring that trophy home

Very True . Generally matches with slightly higher RRR gets turned upside down within 2 overs . That is where a mystery spinner who bowls quickly and batsmen cannot read quick enough will put more pressure,PLUS always chance of picking a wicket in such situations.

Again can be very useful when a wicket falls .   

I think its the first time in recent times Indian selectors have taken a punt and i see more than 50% chance of this coming good if you play him against  SENA teams.
