Nothing would give me more pleasure if the IPL was cancelled. Teach the mercenaries a lesson.

Dude lot of livelihoods are dependant on IPL.

They should ban the players to teach them a lession, not cancel the IPL.

Also stokes, archer etc will be back

Archer is trash in English conditions. He wouldn't do much more than wood.

Stokes yes.

He'll be lucky to have that asterik. They might reschedule it in cloudy june next year and blow our cycle stand away with broad, stokes and archer back

There was no quarantine orders, the agreement was if players clear tests they will play. Both board had agreed but players were scared

Close contacts of Ravi Shastri were also negative but still quarantined. High chance players may turn positive during the test. Only yesterday their physio was tested positive, so, it isn't logical to play the test next day for close contacts. Also dont get which agreement you are talking about.

How is this weak?

Their bowling is good for English conditions. They have root who is equal to 3 players.

Burns is probably their best opener since Cook despite his record.

Pope is like their best ever product from first class. Averages 50 plus in county. Unheard of.

Bowling has Anderson, Wood Robinson woakes. Woakes is their best all rounder in English conditions. Ian Botham level stats there.

It's a good side. Missing stokes though.

Yes because this is the marching order given to all paid PR. Defend kohli at any cost and blame other poor people like some admin manager

Now i understand why you suddenly from nowhere started using admin manager term and used him as scapegoat. Now every social media paid PR has started using admin manager term and scapegoating him. Makes sense

Have you lost your marbles? Administrative manager is the official designation.

You would be naïve to think the IPL does not have any impact on the decision making in this instance... BCCI and the players both do no want to compromise playing the IPL and they are happy get this match cancelled. Cant blame the English media for picking this point up

i hear you. but they need to be very precise with their language. to casually say IPL is the primary reason without any evidence is as i say cheeky, and insinuates foul play. you and i can throw it about i'm not sure tv pundits can

Would be interesting if they made this decision a few days back.

I bet it will be leaked that they did. Wouldnt surprise me.

Yeah for that they made their physio get infected.

Broad is not the same broad anymore. Archer isn't special in England.

It's stokes and he isn't particularly good vs India especially if ashwin plays.

This Indian team isn't the strongest and Most home teams at home historically lose only when they are not at their strongest. So most wins away from home will have this condition.

Unsanctioned by whom? BCCI has no jurisdiction on travelling Team India. Only ECB has… :giggle:

That's the accusation being made :phehe:

Indian coach and team was there. According to Piers Morgan, ECB chief was there. But officials were unaware, allegedly.

IPL is understandably top priority for our players, but how would it be jeopardized by their playing this game? Didn't the players test negative? Would they contract the virus by playing the game? Not defending the players or anything, just trying to understand the logic of the "IPL caused cancellation theory".

You will suddenly see "admin manager" being used on all social media and TV channels, a role you wouldn't even know till now and which is just a rubber stamp position having no authority over players

PR has been given its marching orders and scape goat has been identified for media narrative. Now lets see if BCCI goes with this or actually has some ball to do something

Sympathize with these poor Kohli PR souls. Most likely that's their livelihood and puts food on their plate. No wonder they keep defending him.

For his clownish celebrations last test, the boorish crowd was responsible, for this fiasco, it's the 'team manager'. Their 'saintly' paymaster is as pure as the driven snow.
