QuarantineTormentino Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 I remember the time we used to have a great/decent crop of left arm seamers in Zaheer, Irfan, Nehra and RP Singh, etc. What happened after that? Don’t recall anyone after that except Barindar Sran and Khaleel Ahmed but did even they enough chances? Do we have any current and upcoming talents in the domestic circuit? I really hope we get one soon, pretty much every international team has gun left armers now tweaker 1
sandeep Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Its a cyclical thing - IPL is a great demand booster, we are sure to see a few come through in a couple of years or so. QuarantineTormentino and speedheat 2

speedheat Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 (edited) Sarn and Khaleel both had a decent amount of opportunities to prove themselves in my opinion. But both of them sucks. Khallel is a brainless bowler who is probably still figuring out what length to bowl in t20is and doesn't know how to use slower balls. Sran had stamina issues, the guy could barely make it through four overs. Edited September 14, 2021 by speedheat
Prabhdeep Singh Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Arjun Tendulkar? Maybe speedheat and Adamant 2
prudent_kreeda Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Akash Singh seems to be one bright prospect . Is faster than than most lefties consistently , in some domestic matches he even was bringing it in though did not do that much in WCU19. Hope he comes up good . express bowling and Mosher 2
Lone Wolf Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 I still have hopes from Khaleel the Zaleel.. I hope selectors pick him for that A tour in South Africa. He is being wasted if they think he is T20 prospect. ODI & Test cricket would be ideal for him. Let Nattu have his fun in T20s

Let Nattu have his fun in T20s Natti is underrated in odi. He is quite good in odi. Deserves more chances. He helped us win vs Aussies on dead flat wickets in the one game he played. diga Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Did you forget Chetan Sakariya & Unadkat? Agree both are not international class but maybe effective against lesser teams
ShoonyaSifar Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 (edited) Those who have played for India T. Natarajan Chetan Sakariya Arzan Nagashwalla Arshdeep Singh (Punjab) Jaydev Unadkat Khaleel Ahmed Barinder Sran Experienced domestic hands: Pradeep Sangwan (Delhi) Pawan Suyal(Delhi but no idea about current status) Yarraa Prithviraj (Andhra) Aniket Chaudhary (Rajasthan) Tanvir Ul Haq (Rajasthan) Rush Kalaria (Gujarat) Young ones Akash Singh (Rajasthan) Yash Dayal (UP) Sushant Mishra (Jharkhand, played u-19) Mohshin Khan (UP) The ones highlighted are the best bets but there is no outstanding talent as such. Arzan has created a buzz, Akash is very raw. Sangwan and Suyal promised so much 6-7 years back but somehow could not break through. Mosher Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Akash and Sushant have great potential but are raw atm. They need to play couple of FC seasons. QuarantineTormentino, express bowling and Suhaan 3
