zen Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 (edited) My 11 based on the style I want the team to play, roles, attitude, clutch qualities, etc: #1-2 * Kishan. Role - to smash in PP (also backup WK) * Gaikwad. Picked for ability to play clutch knocks, positive cricket, and maintain some degree of consistency #3-4 (L-R combination maintained so if a left hander gets out a left hander walks in) * SKY. For his 360 degrees batting ability * Jadeja. Role - a Moeen Ali type of role. Can bowl a few overs as well. Great fielder #5-6 (death over hitters, batting order maintains L-R combination) * SDP (Hardik) - a big game player. can bowl if required. great fielder as well * Pant (wk) - a big game player and 360 degrees batting ^ these two can be game changers at the end Bowlers (mainly on form, variety and flexibility) * Thakur - can bat. Overs can be shared with Jadeja and SDP * Bumrah - death over bowling * Siraj - PP bowling * Varun C - mystery spinner * Wild card or per requirement and opposition -> Malik (pace), Avesh (good at most stages), Arshdeep (left arm pace option, can bowl yorkers), Nathu (left arm option, Yorker specialist), Harshal (death bowling), D Chahar (PP bowling), or a spinner PS Coach/mentor MSD Edited October 10, 2021 by zen AuxiliA, Mariyam and Lone Wolf 1 2

Aap ko blame fix karna hai. Mai chahti hoon India T20 WC jeetey. VK and RoSha haven't had one MoM between them this IPL. Given that the pitches will be the same and the opposition bowlers more or less the same, this IPL is a great predictor of what we will see. For all this talk of accountability, the VK+RoSha+Dhawan combine have won us no T20 WCs. Last final we reached was in 2014. Doubt that we can do much worse. At least the likes of Ishaan, V Iyer, Pant and Shaw start their attack from the first delivery.

This team might get knocked out in the group stages,massive difference in pressure between playing for IPL and team India. The hype around Axar is second only to Hardik, what has he ever achieved to bat over Jadeja.
