WTC F was definitely a choke. We were a better test team than NZ overall. On the last day of the test, the trio of Pujara Kohli Rahane had to bat for just 1 session to secure a draw and become joint winners. They couldn't even survive for a session.

We had 8 wickets in hand at the start of the day. Lost all of them an hour into the second session. Was much more disappointing as this is just a T20 WD.

Eng were favorites but we did chose multiple times during that test! After the excellent start in the first innings our middle & lower order just collapsed, Rahane's awful shot in first/second innings both were emblematic of the issues with the test side.

You meant NZ I believe. 

 

Rahane's first innings shot is a shocker. Showed the team was mentally already not in the battle. Bowling effort was shoddy too. We were thoroughly outplayed and if not for the weather would have lost within 3 days.

 

But when weather Ind a chance to share, we lost it and did it very badly.

Yes NZ. India weren't favorites, except for the brain dead fanboys/girls & paid shills, though we had an even chance of drawing that game multiple times especially with the rain alas it never came to pass!

Not in NZ conditions but we aren't much behind NZ in England. Pitches in England help spinners too. Unlike NZ they deteriorate. 

 

India had a chance to boss that match after the start we got in the 1st innings, but they squandered multiple opportunities. They turned a possible victory to a draw and then to a defeat.

Choking is not necessarily who is strong and ends up losing. Choking means losing a match you were winning. In this case, losing a match which we were in a position to draw. So yes it was Choking.

About topic, it was only a matter of 10-15 bad days over a span of many years, they were perfect otherwise, the criticism is unwarranted as per captain & coach.

Not qualifying in the semis is 100% a choke. Nothing to talk about doesnt mean ranking 6th in a tourney where we have only 8 major teams.

SA Always choke. The manner of losing bith matches were 100% choking, indian team is way better than the way they lost both those matches
