I disagree. This is not the Aussie team of the 90s and 2000s.

they don't have the ability but still got the clutch gene and fighting spirit in big games

I still believe England are the team to beat. They are a fantastic LOI side and India should start a rivalry with them in the LOIs.

In tests, Aus in Aus is still the pinnacle.

It was not even that long, it was 99-2007 their unbeatable run. But since 1987, Reliance WC in India, they have been head & shoulders above anyone else in LO tournaments & tests even till mid 2010's - their decline is really only in the way we remember them saving or winning tests from losing positions!

Not top t20 team + did many mistakes which best aussie team never used to do but their batsman specially marsh did play clutch and attacking knock from first ball which is not easy thing to do.

No it isnt. Aus pitches are pattas nowadays

NZ in NZ and Eng in Eng is tougher.

Eng are good in LOIs no doubt, would still back Aus vs them in knockouts

Eng in Eng is not that bad. Eng is beatable even at home if teams come with a plan to take them on.

Aus pitches have regressed. I totally agree, but still teams struggle there for some reason.

Australia are prime contenders for T20 trophy next year now with that being in Australia, they will be hard to stop. Either Eng or IND will stop them otherwise it's gonna be juggernaut

I remember nobody gave them a shot in ODI WC as well...  Thrashed kiwis & England in group stage & coasted to Semis.  Smith & Warner had just came after bans straightaway into WC's.

They are clutch there is no denying that.

No team would Have survived that initial burst of Shaheeen with minimal damage but they did...  And in the end had the nerve to win that tense Semi

Well there is WI, but they're more Pak like than Oz so a capitulation would be the most likely outcome.

Marsh, Maxwell and Stoinis are the definition of X factor cricketers. Having 3 of them playing well is cheat mode on

But we have the great Panda & Bhukhe, not to mention Sir :cheer5:

No. Aus in Australia is the toughest place to win apart from India in India.

True. It is still a strong cricketing nation. The Aussie spirit never goes away, although the team is no longer as invincible as it seemed a decade and a bit back.
