6 innings left and 333 runs to get, given England are bound to bat twice a match

Why is there a asterisk/plus against S/R or the number of balls faced for Viv & Sunny?

Interestingly Joe Root hits very few 6s .. less than Sunny.

Balls faced weren't recorded for some old matches

seems unlikely. yousuf's performance was a true once in a blue moon thing. SRT's 2010 had some excellent innings, even more so in early 2011. glad to see it high up the list.

Looks like it will take some effort to go past Smith as well.  D/N test won't be easy for run scoring.  Needs a 150 here to stay in contention.  But most def he is the best test bat now in world cricket.
