Respect for Kohli

  1. 1. Was sacking of Virat the ODI captain done disrespectfully by BCCI/Ganguly?

    • Yes, a player of such stature cannot be sacked as captain. He can only be convinced to relinquish his captaincy but not fired from the position.
    • The BCCI is right in its decision. However, they could have been more professional like informing him ahead of time and thanking him for his services etc.
    • No, BCCI is not disrespectful in any way but completely justified in its action. In fact, this action is already 2 years overdue.

Dhoni may have cost us a couple of WCs but atleast he wasnt douche... This tamasha should only end one way, Kohli getting booted from the team (all formats). Mfer's PR waving the team record under him as if a walking corpse wouldn't have faired equally as well with the bowlers we have now. thooooooo

One thing Dhoni had even till the end was superior class of wicketkeeping and captaincy in white ball.

In fact, if he played during the 90s his batting even at the end of his career would have been totally fine.

Kohli has performed poorly in every area on the cricket field in the last few years.

In Asia dhoni was a fine captain. He could win icc tournaments anywhere in Asia.

Looks like he doesn't give an eff while posters on ICF and Twitter have started wars.

Alpha move.

You are correct. He doesn't give an eff about anything except "brand" and his marketability. ATG my arse. :finger: The least he can do was keep quiet for some days or if he wants to speak, thank his supporters and congratulate rohit.

Congratulating Hitman would have been massive to his credibility.

Instead he will go down, kicking and screaming.

7 years now as Test captain, nearly 5 years as LOI captain.

Instead of gratitude, Kohli PR mafia are abusing BCCI and Dada, the guy who opened the doors for u-19 stars in the national side (which ultimately helped Kohli jump ahead of Ranji stalwarts)

Do Kohli and his zero iq PR jokers think he has a divine right to be the default Indian captain?

Dhoni captained India to win T20 WC in SA and Champions Trophy in England, not sure what you talking about. He was a very good LOI captain especially in his first 5 to 6 years as captain.

I was talking about post 2013. We dint play 2015 tournament in Asia or 2019. Although 2014 imo was an abberation. It was unexpected. We should have won that year.

I have No doubts about us winning in 2015 WC had it happened In Asia.

lol

Youre kidding right?

Of course he was good, because Dhoni was there basically leading the side. Kohli was captain only on the team sheet.

Dhoni controlled the field, bowlers and what and when to do in T20 and ODIs.
