A test series loss- Solution to India's middle order woes

Yes, that is the only way India is gonna be willing to make any changes in their middle order of Pujara, Kohli and Rahane.

As long as India don't lose a test series( they lost a test match at Headingley but still the trio was sticked), the TM will stick with the same combination. So, no place for Vihari, Iyer or Sundar anytime soon now.

If you want India to drop Pujara or Rahane, then wish for a massive test defeat or for more prominent changes, hope for test series defeat.

The Aussies will be eager for revenge when they tour India and if this AWOL middle order is still there, humiliating defeats await us.Kohli will end the proud home series winning streak also.

He wasn't even a part of the team that beat Oz last time at home, or away, c*** of the highest order :whack2:

A team that is not led by Tim Pain will be a different proposition. That guy was a fattu captain lol

Nearly did that in 2017 itself when thankfully Rahane bailed the team out in his absence.

The only way Pujara and Rahane will be dropped is if India loses a series anytime soon.

The captain will still continue in the same role and make a place in the team but a humiliating series defeat where Rohit/Rahul has some good performances will definitely raise eyebrows on captaincy.

Not even in one dayers they don't make the bold call of dropping oldies. We got a bunch of 30 plus players in the side. Some on the wrong side. Many will be on the wrong side during next world cup. What are the odds of them doing in Tests.

Losing is not a solution. Think of the 8 others. They play to win. They have their careers. The fast bowlers bowl themselves to dirt. So that will be unfair on them. Its a myopic view. Nobody is bigger than cricket. Just for getting rid of three players we cant lose a series. End of day what matters is a win and taking out the wtc one match loss india has lost only a single series in last 3 yrs (nz) since england 2018. Its amazing compared to any country. Rahane got saved because of the covid in England and resting rohit sharma n kohli against nz or else he would have been gone. So uska time aayega. Same for pujara. Kohli will

get a longer rope as he is still one of our top 3 batsmen..

losing isn't the solution, the only course of action is for the BCCI to grow a pair and act ruthlessly. Don't name Bwahane and ChePu even in squad of 15. Kohli will not have any option to play them, and eventually he can be forced out as well

I am anticipating the chest beating of epic proportions when he (Kolli)  beats SA in this series...  Might say biggest achievement of ICT & bla bla...

SL beat a much stronger SA side years ago. Anything less than a series victory should be considered a failure for this tour.

Lot os it is about hw serious you take an opponent and what pitch you are wiling to prepare.

Herath ran rampant in that game. SA would never prepare pitch like that for india. even the spicy pitches they have problems. For India they always The would like to prepare a pitch which is just above flat.

So post with some knowledge and IQ

Herath didn't even play in that series. He had already retired. :hello:
