If you look at West indian bowling the trundling holder was the one who won the series for them. Faster bowlers travelled. Hazlewood won the series against Srilanka. Cummins and Starc were less effective. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
In the last 5 years T20 performance by Fast bowlers in Australia. Natrajan seems to be the best overseas bowler cricketfan28 1 Link to comment
prudent_kreeda
The reason being there is so much training & range hitting being with bowling machines that pace does not matter unless you upset batters's timing with deviation or pace change or bounce . So when ball deviates in swinging conditions most of the guys do not survive . Link to comment

Not saying he should be selected. Just appreciating. He has a great yorker. cricketfan28 1 Link to comment

Axar and bishnoi is good. In Bishnoi I see a real talent. Leggie wristie is always going to be dangerous. Very hard to play them. Wristies who are quality will be good in any format. Link to comment

You need atleast 2 spin options in T20s anywhere. Axar really? Can he bat at no 6. No way. You need a batting AR like Jadeja or Sundar. The rest of your team is perfect. Link to comment

T20, not so sure as a batsman. Link to comment

Remember we will be playing in Australia. Variable pace is key. Need good yorkers, bouncers, slow ball and test length ball type variations. For paces I.e. Wristie will be good in any format. Not sure about t20 as a pure batsman but he will be useful in australia with the ball. His height is a huge factor. anish2tweet 1 Link to comment

And what is Starc if not predominantly a swing bowler? Midgets or not. If bhuvi upped his pace to 135- 138 he can be dangerous with his swing. Chahar too. Midget or not it won't matter. 135-140 is the pace everyone should be targeting in all formats on average. Up the pace when ball flattens from 140 - 145 plus if needed. 135-140 pace on average is quality regardless whether you are short, faint, tall, giant or average. Taller bowlers on bouncy tracks can get away with 130 pace but shorter ones need to maintain 135 ish. That's specifically on bouncy wickets. On slow and low bounce it won't matter. If anything it benefits shorter guys who can bowl fuller on slow and low pitches. Ball will sit up nicely if you have good bounce on low bouncy wickets. Vijy and Cricspin 2 Link to comment
