Adamant Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 If this was done in Odis, I would have liked it, but in t20s? There's no point of promoting Jadeja.

At least move on from him in T20. Give chances to Sundar Axar who are actually T20 specialists. A settled 15-20 player squad is what we need for WT20. Role defining is crucial. You can never count on Jadeja to deliver with the bat or ball in a crunch game. That's how he rolls. Expect India to lose 3-4 players from our best line up. Our players are brittle as f**k. They will breakdown.

bowl_out Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 Why is Rohit opening? Shouldn't he bat down the order and let Samson and Iyers bat? What is he gaining by stats padding against a SL C team?
cricketfan28 Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 We would have won the semi final if Jadeja came early. Sarma is already showing mastery.
nevada Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 The only way to put a positive spin on this is to assume that they are applying pressure on Jadeja to deliver as a batsman by putting him in the spotlight. ShoonyaSifar 1
Bigg Brother Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Project Jaadu going since 2009...Have we forgotten how he screwed us in 2009 wt20 against England?? nevada and ShoonyaSifar 2

No wonder Venky is 'unwatchable' (but only for those with a myopia) Should be soon forgotten the 'Titan', considering he is out of the MI bubble. His uselessness wont be shielded from a big team's backing anymore
Jay Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 when kohli fans and pandya fans suggest this is a bad idea, then it has to be the opposite. Hope rohit continues to push this move. Kohli and pandya fans have zero knowledge about the sport especially the ones here in ICF. Total lack of ability to discern the quality of a player. Most likely stems from the fact that none have played this sport at a high level.

Agree,if it works great if not he can be dropped. Don't need him in Aus

I assume you played the sport at 'high level'? please share your cricinfo profile for the noobs here bro jadeja's strike rate is 113 in T20Is, dude literally won't start hitting until 18th over. On the top of it, his bowling is a liability and a better spinner will miss the spot in the team because of him Clarke 1
