Rohit Sharma - "you'll continue to see Ravindra Jadeja bat up the order. We'll see promoting him in the coming games"

The 11 is already unwatchable with Rohit, Kohli (resting currently), 2 Iyers, Bhuvi, and now Jadeja

I agree Jadeja is unwatchable in T20Is and Bhuvi should also be not in T20Is anymore.

But Shreyas would have given you a phainty with today's performance. And Venky is slowly establishing himself.

If he's the designated number 6/7 in that batting order for the WC, better to give him those opportunities.

Jadeja the T20I player hasn't done much after nearly 13 years, so am not entirely convinced about the move.

Venky's continued success will only mean a certain titan from Baroda being confined to IPL. No wonder Venky is 'unwatchable' (but only for those with a myopia)

Have you watched the game …

Rohit & Dravid are doing too much experimentation...  We have seen Jadeja what he is capable of..  At least move on from him in T20.  Give chances to Sundar Axar who are actually T20 specialists.

A settled 15-20 player squad is what we need for WT20.

Role defining is crucial.  You can never count on Jadeja to deliver with the bat or ball in a crunch game.  That's how he rolls.

I like their combo. Dravid is a mad scientist with his experiments. Used to do that a lot s captain and coach in IPL too.

Rohit is Dhoni School of Process Technology pass out.

a perfect combo.

I watched Shreyas's innings but not India's bowling.
Yes, I see that Shreyas really did well.

Not really. Started off poorly to take advantage of poor Lankan bowling later on  … dropped catches (both Iyers), and the other Iyer’s bowling was terrible (got a few wkts with SL targeting him. One over went for 21)

For me, cricket is not a everyday stock market where value goes up and down after each game and that too versus an under strength SL. A player has to show improvements and be good enough for major tournaments against top sides for me to rate him higher … With lots of cricket to come including versus some strong teams, no player is going to be picked for the upcoming WC based on performances versus WI and SL

It is perfectly watchable standing like a match stick and swinging from hips and missing the balls by 2 feet lol
