Closing Confucius institutions etc... And had blowback since then as he had strongly favored closed ties with China as opposed to Truss. This is his another one of those attempts to secure confidence of Tory memebers. He is swinging alright though... Going down with a fight.

Since he came to number 11(specially during COVID) all the socialist and welfare policies he came up with even managed to shutup labour and LD leaders, while taxed me more and more. Why should i vote for him. I have left India for economic reasons and my voting will be primarily driven by how a leader impacts my personal finances. The problem is that there are billions available to provide arms to Ukraine and millions to put up illegal refugees in 4star hotels BUT there is no money to reduce tax burden on citizens or provide financial help on energy bills. There arrogance to spite Russia with sanctions is what is leading to their OWN citizens suffering. Is that Conservative behaviour? Truss was as enthusiastic about the anti russia rhetoric as BoJo mishra

Truss was as enthusiastic about the anti russia rhetoric as BoJo Agrre. I see Russia as enemy to UK and Western interest and I dont mind government to maintain its current policy to contain Russia and if most of pain is passed onto us. But, if you see other side, Every sector of economy has been mismanaged. Why did they create a housing bubble by keeping interest rates so low for so long, why was stamp duty holiday introduced? Why does there exists a tax on Health insurance (Isnt people taking away some of burden off NHS buy buying Health insurance. Today most of Britain educated Doctors are leaving UK while one in 3 doctor is coming to UK from Developing world )? Why do poor have to pay road tax on their cars while tax break(Road tax, corporation) is given on EVs specially on something like TESLA car which is more or less luxury car , making it in China. If Shunak really wanted, he could have put a price cap on EVs (say like of Hyundai Toyota and Kia) would have only qualified and then would have shared the same rebate to income tax. Free money upto 50K was given to even taxi drivers as business allowance which they took it and then went bust as company. Dole given to people was so much and so high that even Labour and Liberals were speeechless if they can ask anything more. Trust me, every sector, allmost every secor was mismanged. Free money given, has come out of pockets of people mid and high income tax brackets along with hidden charges on big corporations who actually create job. Well sorry to disagree but i do mind- the current pending recession is due to the energy market crisis vis a vi sanctions on russia. This whole conflict is a western created mess and its citizens are suffering. If people have to spend 60/70% more on energy and fuel bills than they used to then yes less to spend on in the wider economy. Agree some of their decisions especially during covid such as Eat out to Help put, stamp duty waivers which pushed up house prices fro no reason. Their reckless spending on dodgy contracts for their rich friends is showing how much mismanaged the whole country is when it comes to finances and priorities. Its not about Truss is better than Sunak, thwo political system in the UK is broken and not fit for purpose. mishra

Its no brainer as to who is better between the two. Shunak wins hands down when it comes to brain. Problem is, he is no politician, too smart and comes out as socialist nevada
