This was always on the cards,

 

His pattern is public ,they all can see him bossing bowlers that too non regulars:wp23: in inconsequential/practice matches but come the real games he surrenders like a sheep

Arguably the most timid meek weak cricketer to have played the gam ever

No offence to women's cricket,but he can't take pressure there as well

His current version won't survive against the pressure even in u14 cricket 

 

Just drop him for good,no need of sissy cricketers like him to walk straight into the xi,he will rub his sissyness to others as well

The amount of backing this mental midget has been getting from the selectors and the TM over the years is unprecedented.  Even legends like Sachin would probably hv not got this much support if they failed in crucial games in a trot.   This midget looks intimidated/subdued even in the final matches of bilateral series.   Let alone ICC tournaments.

No, he never got any backing. Dhawan played one more match than him. He performed from day one but it was Dhawan who found place in starting XI over the years. I remember he played clutch knocks against Eng and Sl in starting of his career, but rested when Dhawan came back. He was the fastest starter we had till then. All this forced him to take the stat padder approach which was not going to work for him with two similar batsmen in top 3.

 

If he wasn't been hit by injuries, unfair droppings, Karan Johar episode, etc., he would have been a different batsman. There's no denying he failed in both World T20 but his spot was not secure by then. Now that the TM brought him back after injury and made him feel secure, he should be able to come back positively, against non-minnows obviously. Asia Cup was a disappointment.

Kela is back with a bang.   After registering an awesome duck against padosis, he scores 9 vital runs for his team against the world' strongest bowling attack Netherlands.    Faced 12 balls too.  Implies he was trying to anchor the inning. Incredible commitment.   He should be in the team for next 10 years. A true warrior. :adore:

That ball was missing leg clearly I felt. Pakistani umpire was trying to screw us. Why didn't KL review it. I think Rohit even asked him to take review but he kept walking.

Was there a stump mic where you could hear them talk? CI says Rahul had a chat with Rohit who it seems told him that there was no point reviewing it. If that were true, Rahul is unlucky and for screwed over by his captain

The captain on the other end is not firing either . Kohli is our backup opener and Pant is the backup keeper and for DK’s position. So iss WC mein Kele ko jhello…

He performe or not that's a different thing. But just by looking at him opening against good team made me feel that "Bakra halal hone ja raha hai" . Now even Indian commentator stating that he is mental midget .

Not sure how many hv noticed this. But the bowlers are really not celebrating his wicket.  They think he is T Bavuma and should be at the crease for as long as possible.  Today, when he got dismissed, SA did not celebrate at all.  But they did celebrate rohit's and kohl's wickets.  Kela's image is no better than that of a tail ender as far as the opponents bowlers are concerned.:p:.
