maniac Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 He can be useful at the start with sheer pace in these dry conditions. He is not even playing A games. So expect him to directly fit for test cricket? Clarke 1
vvvslaxman Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 He had a decent season. But he is somewhat a predictable bowler. Okay with new ball. You might as well back Shami. Both can bat though somewhat which is a plus. SRT100 1
Suhaan Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 No please no,look forward rather Har baar hi toh koi tournament hota hai We cant ruin our future by playing dropped oldies in the name of experience ,that way we won't be able to develop the replacements ever Mosher, AKane and express bowling 3
Number Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 He probably would have gone for 40 in 2 overs here. Clarke and Norman 1 1

He will be directly selected for test squad? He could have been in the backups at least for Bhuvi because the backups are worse.

maniac Posted September 4, 2022 Author Posted September 4, 2022 Just now, Lord said: Umesh? What great he did? Had a good IPL and is fresh and injury free due to lack of cricket. Can swing the ball at high pace, slog and also brilliant in the outfield.

SanjayITSupport Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 He needs to make friendship with Sharma to get in the team

Lot of younger bowlers to pick from for T20's. Throwaib_Chuckter, express bowling, maniac and 2 others 5

singhvivek141 Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Umesh don't have "sheer pace" anymore. He is ageing now a 136-142 bowler who can hit 144-145 as his peak, tbh we should now look for his replacement as he hinted in the past that he will retire soon. https://www.crictracker.com/umesh-yadav-hints-at-retirement-in-two-or-three-years/ express bowling 1
nitinbwj Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Why has the TM gone back to oldies and we were supposed to be the next bowling powerhouse post IPL. Mohsin, Umran, Kuldeep, Mukesh Chowdhary. Darpok chewtiye saale. express bowling 1
