Don't be surprised if we select a below pace attack :-

Bhuvi (130-135 kph)

Arshdeep(130-135 Kph)

Bumrah(135-140 Kph)

Harshal(125-130 kph)

Reserves :

D Chahar (130-135 kph)

I mean who else did they test..this with injured bumrah will get slaughtered

They tested Avesh and Umran and they didn't performed.

Siraj failed in IPL itself and not sure if performance vs Zimbabwe or Windies warranty him a place.

Shreyas Iyer may be picked as back up. Not that i like the idea. But his consistency will be cited as reason.

Yes.  The consistency of getting dismissed cheaply against short stuff in every game.  LOL..     Big Aus grounds with bouncy wickets are the ones most suitable for bowling accurate short balls. There is hardly any swing on offer.  So, Bounce is the weapon which top teams are gonna use every time.  Would be a blunder if selectors select him even as back up. (In subcontinent, it's ok. Not so in SENA).

I don't think squads are selected based on location. First choice will always be the regulars. Then the back ups. Then the rest. So every likelihood he will be backed given that SKY is having a mini slump. Pandya has flattered to deceive. Pant is still finding his feet.

Whoever they pick, team has no chance with the associate level bowling attack. Better plan for next World T20 after this year's exit and give opportunities to newbies in following games after World T20.

As if our batting is doing wonders. We still open with KL Rahul for no good reason and Kohli comes at three, both will miserably fail in Aus.

And if we think Arshdeep , Bhuvi and Chahal will win matches then we are a laughing stock. Plus they are liabilities on field and can't score a single run with the bat. Bishnoi and Deepak Chahar should be automatic choices along with Bumrah if they are fit instead of the players in handicapped quota.

Issue is our players are one dimensional and even then they can't play well in that one dimension they are so called speciality

That is an issue. But even bigger problem is that in that 1 dimension they are not the best or consistent enough.

For example England will smash any team in flat pithces 9 out of 10 times. We don't have such examples for this Indian team that they will win 90% if it's a spinning track or in India or whatever.

Key to Success is "HORSES for COARSES" in australia worldcup.

My Team for world cup Should be-

  1. KL rahul
  2. Virat
  3. rohit- captain
  4. surya kumar
  5. Hooda is first choice as he is our second spinner too.
  6. Our Mottu Keeper Rishabh ahead of Karthik as He is a left hander , he has fitness issues but India has no choice as they have not groomed bharat. NO Karthik.
  7. Hardik Pandya
  8. Shardul thakur- He is an all rounder for T20, don't rate Thakur low. if hardik is most valuable , he is our second best pace all rounder and he deserves to go to australia. he has played in Mumbai and under msdhoni so he is a Khadoos bowler. he has given runs but has got wickets too.
  9. boom- bumrah
  10. arshdeep- kanjoos pacer...only stops runs. He has to improve his wicket taking ability.
  11. Bishnoi as ONLY Spinner in wc team as I dont expect the Patlu chahal to succeed in Australia, if australia prepares spinners friendly wickets , Lanka , India , Pakistan will eat up australia, newzealand and england in the world cup. the pitches will be created as dead bed for Spinners. if we play chahal , he will be attacked and he may get wickets but he will give 40 runs  to 60 runs in his 4 overs and that will ensure india looses. even axar patel is a good option but i would prefer to pick up bishnoi ahead of axar as Bishnoi has a bit of confusing action. i will pick only one spinner ahead of chahal and Axar.

12. Khaleel OR Siraj. Khaleel was deadly in IPL and i saw him bowling very well and when ever batsman tried to hit him , catch opportunities were created.

13. Shammi or Siraj;- Both are very good bowlers but I will pick Siraj ahead of shammi as Shammi has fielding and fitness issues as of today and t20 match in australia may require a lot of running. DO not give me siraj's average and run rate in IPL's , he has bowled at the death and he has become a finished product just now , earlier he was a fast bowler only for tests. today he is awesome , can to bounce at high pace, i have seen 144k bouncers from him hitting batsman. any attack comprising of BOOM SIRAJ BHUVI and HARDIK is an awesome attack. Having said that SHammi is probably a shade better bowler than Siraj for T20 But his fielding is PATHETIC , his catching is bad and he is india's worst fielder along with ASHWIN and Chahal. Siraj does very good ground fielding and his catching is also improving. in T20, fielding plays a very important role, if siraj can stop 5 runs more than shammi in field , he gets that as additional. so i am good with either of them. I will not pick HARSHAL Patel.

14. Bhuvi- the Swing King.

15. Shreyas IYER( very talented batsman ) OR Gill as spare Batsman- He is India's no 1 batsman today along with Virat Kohli and he has succeeded in Australia. I am happy with both.

Why do you pick 2 keepers - KL is our second keeper.

if pitches are spin friendly, india can always ask a pacer to report sick and fly CHAHAL as a replacement.

Spinners will be a PAIN in Australia so PICK pace bowling Allrounders and Pacers in Team. in this team we have Shardul and Hardik as Pace all rounders and they can bat well.

Batsman are good too- KL, Virat, SKY, Rishabh ( he is a weak keeper but we have no choice, cant carry Uncle karthik in the team),hooda , IYER OR Gill

Pace attack BOOM, siraj, khaleel/shami, bhuvi, arshdeep

AR- Hardik and Shardul.

Spin- BISHNOI ..for t20 , he is better than CHahal. axar is a defensive spinner and is will not be effective in australia. hooda is second option as spinner and he bowls OK for t20.

Bumrah is 135-145 kph regularly and sometimes 145-148 kph too.

(  Used to hit 150 kph regularly in 2018 and 2019  )
