Shami has no match practice, it is never good to draft him straight into the side.

 

Siraj is playing continuously - county cricket and then for India. He also did pretty well last time in Australia albeit in ed ball cricket.

 

It is no brainer for me that Siraj should play over Shami.

3 spinners. Hope that Ashwin and Chahal are encouraged by the big grounds to toss it up and attack, not bowl flat and on the pads.

 

Gives us batting till 8 too.

Not necessarily expecting ppl to get injured as they are part of the regular reserves, along with to bowl in the nets.

Did okay in ODIs. Can turn it around.

 

Not the best option but still better than TTF Shami who hasn't even played since Eng tour
