Players you would expect to retire from T20Is after this world cup?

I think following players playing their last international T20 assignment in upcoming Wt20 and will retire:

 

India - Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik

Australia - Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, Mitchel Starc

England - Ben Stokes

Pakistan - can't think of anyone, they probably will bring Shoaib Malik back for 2024 WT20

Bangladesh - Shakib Al Hassan

Srilanka - no one, fairly young side

New Zealand - Kane Williamson

West Indies - not sure, like Pakistan they might bring Chris Gayle back for T20 in 2024

 

Safe to assume this world cup will be the last T20 international assignment for the fab 3 - Kohli, Smith & Williamson with Root already out from T20 scheme of things?

Kohli and Rohit aren't going anywhere. They will play  2024 WC as well. And if they have semi decent IPLs every year, they might even play 2026 WC.

Indian cricketers have always been shameless when it comes to announcing retirement.  Rohit will shamelessly continue the legacy. Not surprising. But extremely annoying.
