• Bhuvi is still in the team? why? Everybody knows I'm a Bhuvi fan, but post WC I don't there is any point in selecting him for a bilateral T20 series.  Waste of a spot.  
• Prithvi Shaw, nowhere to be seen.

Good team but atleast should have waited for our SF elimination before announcing the squad..

1. No Prithvi Shaw in T20s is very disappointing. 

2. Umran Malik is a good selection.

3. Ravi Bishnoi completely dropped from all squads after one bad performance in one ODI ?

4. Not selecting batting all rounders who can bowl medium pace in T20s is another mistake. There were some good performances from Venkatesh Iyer recently. He is not given call up for any team.

5. Yash Dayal is that good ?

Happy for Kuldeep Sen and Umran, finally selectors indirectly admitted that they acted foolishly when selected Mukesh Kumar over Kuldeep Sen, no Avesh Khan as well.
Yash Dayal comes in for Bangladesh ODI...sabko ek ek series ka biscuit pakda diya.

He is decent, 5.11-6.0 height, pace in 135-140 range and can move the ball and bowl in death. Was a key for UP in SMAT 2021.
In IPL he didn't performed very well but wasn't bad either.

No Sarfaraz in the test squad that too vs BD is very disappointing. Sarfaraz over Gujara should have been a no brainer

So, seeing the squads for the Bangladesh  and NZ series - there are a lot of forward-thinking selections, but looks like Prithvi Shaw is still in the BCCI doghouse.  Disappointing to see this after his good domestic performances and obvious talent.

Cricbuzz removed the Ban squad from that article.
Added about Shaw...he will get his chances soon., Rajat Patidar and Rahul Tripathi probably may also be in "very soon" list.
