RSA should build on this and add more trophies with this batch. Like in case of India, once the drought ends, one brings two. Anyway teams like India, RSA are super consistent and frequently make it till KOs.

Nasser and Athers were right ,they said the same thing in 2024 I think that India were just 1 trophy away from Opening the floodgates and here we are winning another 2 after wt20 2024

Since Nov 2023, Aus hv won NIL ICC tournaments.  While Ind hv won 4 already (incl Women WC 2025)

Star Sports included u19 world cups as well to show that we lead the total WC count.

The idea is good but I am not sure if ODI WC is 3x T20 WC. If T20 WC = 1, maybe ODI WC = 2. WTC can be 1.5, and CT, if included (not required) can be 0.5.

With 6 runner up positions, NZ has made past SF more than SA, therefore, based on the above numbers, SA remains the 'choking" king.

I don't like this at all. 

 

Back in the days, world cups were only every 4 years. Australia were consistently the top brand for decades. 

 

Now there is a world cup seemingly every year. There are 3 types of world cups (ODI, T20, Test championship). Then there are champions trophies which shouldn't even count in the same veins as world cups.

Champions trophy is as challenging as a WC if not more. CT, you only face top teams. No minnows. CT is above WC in challenges faced.

 

Regarding WC, every year. Australia also playing them. It's a huge challenge for teams to be on top all the time and try to win every year. Though it has reduced the importance of world events big time. T20 WC shouldn't be happening every two years and T20 WC and odi WC should have two years gap between them.
