Siraj’s weakest format is t20. Sure he will have that game where he will run through top order but he is a must in ODIs and tests.

if you want a long career out of him then keep him away from t20s.

We need to keep trying other options that fit.

on a similar note Arshdeep should only play t20s for now and shouldn’t be part of odi or test set up.

Prasidh will be good in ODIs and not sold for t20s

phase Bumrah from ODIs and let him play t20s and tests.

management of resources is where we failed not in the lack of talent department.

Tbf that's how Brat also selected his teams, albeit over 5+ years :cantstop:

Siraj is only three months younger than Bumrah

can you compare his and bumrahs actions and relative strengths and weakness ? I feel siraj might have longeivity.

Afridi is much younger.  Siraj is in his peak years.

It's sad that Siraj is already 28 years old (soon will be 29)..but has not even played 30 games in either of the format.
One big injury and he can potentially turn into another Saini, waiting in wings forever. Hope he remains fit for whatever 4-5 years he has left in tank.

Must be the fastest to do so. Has played just 21 matches. That's exceptional because players carry penalty points in first 20 matches, slowly rating will grow higher even if he doesn't perform.

I had the same question, is he the fastest to the number 1 ranking?

Will rule Tests too and be useful in T20Is

Shami  and Bhuvi never reached no. 1

That's correct. As good as shami was before 2022, he never reached number 1. Siraj if injury free will be a gun bowler for the next 4 years.

Peak rating for Shami vs Siraj?

Nevertheless, Siraj has been exceptional vs everyone in absence of Bumrah as strike bowler.
