Anything less than 200 will be tough to defend. Absolute road

gill has decided that SR of 100 is enough to cement his slot. showing his master, Rahul Dravid, that he can play the "long game"

This is the problem of giving youngsters like Gill chances in all formats. He will carry the burden of these failures into other formats too and ruin them also.

Always try youngster in one format and let them be successful there first. They will then carry that confidence into other formats.

These kind of batters builds pressure on others and themselves, then the other batters or they themselves have to play higher risk shots to get out of the prison.

Not a good t20 tactics, but much favoured in Ind set-up for a v.long time

sr of 100 for now is ok. Because not losing wicket is a loving aggressive player like Suriya to go, but if Gil is there for the next three hours he needs to get a move on and I think he will.

Gill needs to crack Test and ODIs first and reach his peak. Then we can draft him in t20 and he would be fine.

Gill is low on the pecking order in t20. Hopefully he won’t ruin his other formats to become a t20’player

He doesn't rotate the strike well. It's ok if he is consolidating when the other end is having a blast but rotate strike. Rohit hasn't been successful in t20s due to same reason.
