These seniors are hell bent on ruining Ind Cricket. Joker selections made by corrupt politicians. Gill is a fukin bore. I would play SKY, Kishan, Bishnoi, Kuldeep in white ball setup. Heck, I will unleash SKY in Tests also. It's better to use his purple patch now. Don't want him to drag his career in all the formats if his form is gone like our Senior Chewtiya MCs

I am confused. Kishan clearly has higher stroke rate. Can keep . Gill has no secondary skill . Don’t see him having a sixth gear like rohit .

is the coach retarded ? And sky just hit a 100 . You got to give him chances in odi . A team of kishan rohit Kohli sky jadeja / Ayer sampson / Rahul axar sundar hardick umran bumrah will be unstoppable.  Firepower till 9 and 6 bowling options

instead Chutia is benching the guys in form . This is corrupt

I have been saying repeatedly since 2018 that India's underwhelming and disappointing results in white ball format are not about not having the right players, its about selection and tactical preferences.  We are handful of games away from the very first solo home hosted WC  for India, and we are going to be the first host in 15 years to not win it.  And again, not because we don't have the skilled player resources, but because of constant and repeated bungling and mismanagement.

Sundar is dropped as well last one year

11 matches 212 runs 35.33 avge@87   &  13 wickets 20.30 avge@4.40 ER

In batting alone Sundar beats KL Rahul forget about Bowling

In bowing Sundar's ER/Strike rate /Avge is better han weasel chahal

But both get to play

Sundar should be groomed as a specialist batsman across test and odis.  He is an automatic starter for ODIs unless injured.  Not a fringe selection.  KL is now either a stop-gap 'keeper bat or replacement squaddie.  We need another all-rounder type regular player in the mix apart from Sundar and Pandya, once we have that, we can unleash a Kishan or Shaw at the top, or maybe both.

This isn't complicated.  It just needs clear-eyed resource management and planning.

Dravid needs to step up.

Kishan had 1 massive inning ,otherwise 207 runs in 6 inning off 245 balls.

He did make an 82 against SA. What did KL Rahul do? Let us not go back to this "Class is permanent form is temporary". KL Rahul never had class.

Pecking order. Gill was third opener in ODIs before Kishan so he gets priority. It's how things work in Indian cricket

As far as keeping goes KL Rahul was never in the pecking order. He is always a back up keeper. Making him main keeper confirms it is not pecking order. It is nepotism order.

But he was the keeper in BD wasn't he over Kishan? He was higher in the pecking order for WK. Every thing in Indian cricket can be explained with that term

Point is he should have never been in the pecking order as a keeper. It is not the 2003 where we didn't have a good batting wicket keeper. Kishan's keeping was brilliant too.
