Is Congress 99 including RaGas 2 seats ? If so, he has to resign one and it becomes 98. Which one will he pick? What’s the inside scoop @Lone Wolf

Looks like Waynad is safe either way... And easier to ditch. UP has open multiple opportunities for Congress don't think he should ditch RB.

I don't get it. How come British india as well even in 90s india was able to give pension but not now.

Pension is given today as well obviously, but for employees joining after 2003, it was reformed to NPS (new pension scheme).

Rumours are rife that he will give up RB and get Pinky in RB in the by-election.

Aaj Tak claiming Shinde group is ready to defect into UBT faction lol... Everyone knew it was inevitable :giggle:

Don't think its very likely. Shinde will not get to be CM in that case.

There is a greater chance of UBT fooling his voters yet again and joining with BJP. That too is unlikely.

One question comes to Mind. Judging by so many pre poll defections, pre poll alliances despite analysts (specially BJP Supporter ones) complaigning that you are winning so why you need these people,  Was BJP actually worried of INDI bloc that they might loose the election?

Anyway mkts are up significantly today :aha:

@Lord @diga

Because of the simple fact that BJP didnt get clear majority , overnight option premiums might stay higher for the next 5 years when events are around :aha:

Dude it's simple. Coalition politics is good for a country like India as most of the public is badly uneducated and ill informed on issues like inflation, economy, monopolies etc.

Coalition parties at least focuses the issues on local issues like water, electricity, food, youth unemployment like jobs etc.

The mistake Modi and Shah always made since the time of Gujrat riots has been arrogance in believing their way is the only way and India will do better under a strong fist leadership. We saw how that turned out with Indira Gandhi.

Modi's stupid policies like demonetization where it did nothing to prevent cash hoarding and money in politics, or GST to raise consumption taxes which hurts the poor, or COVID where people in small cities had to walk 100 km to reach home with no food or resources, or supporting monopolies of Ambani and Adani all got swept under by media bullying and public not knowing anything.

I get the concept of focusing on development etc but you cannot do that when you also have to protect your boy Adani and Ambani as there's too much conflict of interest. Public being brainwashed by media is also going to come back and hurt you as social media is now more popular than traditional media, the truth will come out.

I stopped reading after your excellent insight on demonitisation and GST.

Got to appreciate Pawan Kalyan. He was asked in an interview if he is picking sides. He said we support NDA no second thoughts. He sacrificed quite a bit for TDP and NDA to win in AP. He was also asked about what are goals he mentioned health, jobs, law and order which I thought was good considering he is an actor. He is very clear on what to achieve hopefully his party can grow.

Suddenly after the dust has settled down kangressis are learning that Modi will be PM once more

But they did victory dances already. I think this result is good for India long term. BJP should be worried that RAGA might be PM in if they slip up. They should learn from this.

Under the entire UPA unemployment in India was 8% - about 1% more than it was in the last 10 yrs - except during height of Covid.

https://www.indiatoday.in/interactive/immersive/modi-vs-manmohan-upa-vs-nda-tenure-data/

Human Development Index, Growth, Price Rise etc... all way better in the last 10 yrs than under UPA. Why is that? Under this govt India was electrified completely and more infra in terms of roads and rails were built compared to our entire history. What nonsense are you on about?

Coalition governments are all about doing 0. It is pathetic for any country - let alone a country like India
