so many allrounders have overtaken Jadeja in ODIs.. its a miracle he even gets to play so consistently... even his namesake rachin ravindra or wellalage etc have shown better allround performances than his entire career

What is Jadeja's role in ODI setup? Specialist fielder who occasionally runs in and bowls some darts?

We all knew Frauduja was a fraud since his early days.  But kishan's SR is also too low.  Apart from the game against Pak (where he scored mainly against shahdab and nawaz who were bowling full tosses) , he has looked completely clueless

Axar + Jadeja = 1 player basically. Infact Jadeja's bowling is not even that good. Barely better than Axar. Axar's batting is much better than Jaddu. Still compared to the players from other countries pathetic.

Jadejas batting has fallen to the depths of the earth.yesterdays innings really shows how far he has fallen,he tried to give the strike back to Gill for 2 deliveries but he cant even find the gaps when there are easy singles all  over the field and then perished to an ugly hoick. HE cant rotate strike or hit boundaries.right now our WC squad has 3 players who should not even be playing ODI cricket but Jadeja should not play any LOI cricket and somehow he is in the WC squad.

Cricket should be left with the folks who are motivated.

after wc ODI sanyas hi hai. he is just stretching his ODI career and hoping he wins the WC with this team

At this point, given our options the only thing we can do is let Jaddu bowl & deliberately cause a concussion & replace him with Axar.

The problem is with the TM. This is Rohits team. They already knew Kishan can't bat in the middle order and still force him in at 5.

 

If they're only going to play him at 5, then he's a bit of a waste. Might as well have picked Samson.
