Today's match feels like a cricket video game with SL being the guy who has just learnt to play the game today and is struggling with the controls.

Point to note is that we have won the tournament with 5 fast bowlers and just 1 medium paced allrounder. 

 

No floaty trundlers were picked to bowl upfront and we got the results.

Are you comparing Hyderabad to Mumbai?  

 

last time we had the final. I attended that game. It’s the only ODI I have seen in its totality. Till date. on tv or in a stadium. 
 

this time the final is in Amdavad. Another unfun place.

Ahmedabad used to be boring, but now people say it is quite eventful now.

The stadium is quite big in capacity

so yeah, revenue wise BCCI can earn ₹₹₹₹

 

Also, as a joke people say that 30% population of Mumbai is actually from Ahmedabad, so same folks will be there as well.

It’s not a joke. There is a large Gujarati population in Mumbai. 
 

I don’t want be a buzzkill but Ahmedabad is really boring. Unless you are on campus: IIM A or MICA. Then it’s tolerable. Its a very sanitised city and has good infrastructure. But that’s about it.

 

Why would I care about BCCI’s revenue? Wankhede is quite close to my parents place. I’d much rather the final is here.

Watering holes here have the usual patrons surmising that it is due to 'pixing' that a 50 over match ended up with a team getting bowled out for 50 in a final. One shouldn't blame Padosis, it's genuinely a dna thing I'm beginning to think.

And Bangalore has no decent India game. One of India vs NZ or India vs Australia should have been at Chinnaswamy. Both teams have terrible records here.

If Ha Pa remains fit, it makes Bumrah and Siraj more aggressive and intent on wicket taking.

Another point to note, apart from Kuldeep, the spinners did jack all.

 

That too on Sri Lankan tracks which aid spin. 

 

We don't need 2 spin all-rounders in any squad of 15.

 

Pace wins you key phases and tournaments. 

 

It is always, and I mean ALWAYs, better to err on the side of picking extra pacers than an extra spinner.

No not you. Padosis keep defaulting to match fixing allegations to make sense of something they can't understand especially india related. See shoaib akhtar etc the past few days.

You have folks over here repeating the same things just coz India won the final so the skepticism inherent to suspecting conspiracies is a dna thing by the looks of it is what I wanted to say.
