I have been watching him for a year now. I don't understand what skill does he posses apart from pace. How is he playing cricket at this level?

His skills are extra pace, bouncers and slower balls.

Nothing else.

Batters should be able to handle him most of the time. Tailenders may have issues.

To be honest, im surprised at how easily batsmen have thrashed him in this World Cup. Never seen a 145-150 kph bowler getting thrashed so easily, even by Afghanistan batsmen. He seems to have no plan on how to get a batsman out. He just runs up and bowl as quick as he can and mix it up with slower deliveries sometimes, that's it.

He is no Lee/Akthar he has certain skill and that can be utilize. Bowls fast, have bouncer, yorkers and well disguised slower bowls works well when batters are looking for quick runs. We have seen he is able to make a come-back in last 10 overs when batters are looking to go after the ball.

He is a role player, he has to be used in a certain way. In ODIs when batters can negotiate some balls and hit on few and are in no hurry to get quick runs he may have some disadvantage.

This is kind of same as Ind has with Deepak Chahar and Bhuvi both have bowl upfront and have to get their good amount of quota done before 35th over

He has a unique skill. In a pressure situation he possesses a wonder weapon delivery that can be hit by Kohli for consecutive sixes.

Mighty useful skill for team India.

No. Pace is pace yaar gang. He has no skill. This was a slightly faster pitch with carry. He did not exhbit any other skill other than bowling slow and bowlning fast

Wasim Jr was bowling unplayable deliveries here, but Rauf wasn’t able to get that type of assistance.

He is finished after those 2 sixes by Kohli, now any Tom Dick Harry is smashing him for sixes and he has no answer, so he just pulls his hair out of frustration.

Pretty sure by the end of WC, he will be seen visiting Dr. Batra's clinic.
