Rohit

Rahul

Jad

Bhumra

Shami

Siraj

Kuldeep

I say rest, Rahul, Kuldeep, Bhum and Shami

Rahul needs to find some confidence back after some ordinary outings. Will instead rest Rhoit or Kohli.

Kuldeep has hardly had to bowl with our pacers & Jaddu running riot.

Boom & SHami should sit out.

If both Bumrah and Shami sit out, we will struggle.

I am in favour of playing ..

Prasidh  for Siraj

Ashwin for Kuldeep

Kishan for Kohli

....  We are playing a game after 7 days.  Our key bowlers are Bumrah and Shami. They need to stay in rhythm. No need to bowl flat out though

....   Need to try Prasidh, Ashwin and Kishan, to cover for niggles to a batter, pacer and spinner in the KOs.

.... Kohli is the in-form and steady player and can afford a break.

..... MO batters, Shreyas, Rahul and Jadeja need more batting practice.

..... Rohit is adopting an aggressive approach and needs to stay in rhythm. Gill needs to strike rhythm and hence both should play.

I would love to see the same team going for another smashing win. Keeps the confidence going and keeps other teams scared. I agree with others that there is lot of rest between games to need more rest. India matches are ending so soon that they are not even playing the full hours.

However if some changes are to be made to give backup players game time then Resting Bumrah is not a bad Idea. Shami has not played that much and Siraj is just getting back to form. Play Prasidh to test out his match fitness and give him some overs to figure out line/length.

On the batting side Rohit must play as Captain as we do not need stand in captain with his own strategy. Gill, SKY and Rahul all need batting time. They all should play as well. Iyer just getting some form and confidence going. No point him resting either. Virat is damn fit and hungry for runs and he wont  want to sit out. But playing Kishan for Virat is the only possible change.

Rohit

GIll

Virat/Kishan

Iyer

KL Rahul

SKY

Jadeja

Shami

Kuldeep

Bumrah /Prasidh

Siraj

Kohli should play to get the pesky 50th 100 out of the way. kuldeep is a rhythm bowler, better to swap jaddu with ashwin; batting will be lighter, but not really an issue vs Ned. Siraj is improving, so his rhythm should not be broken. boom is a banker, so he can be rested without issue

Bumrah should play.  He is returning after a long layoff and 10 days without a game may stiffen his body.
