India vs Australia 3rd T20 - Guwahati - 28 Nov

Recommended Posts

Sometimes I feel that as a nation we produce an excellence of mediocrity.

We do very well in specific, limited conditions, but outside those we can’t achieve excellence.

So it is for our most of our bowlers.

And so it is for our engineering students who are academically brilliant but mostly $hit their pants in real world conditions that require applied engineering.  No offence to anyone here, I’m one too.

For every ISRO, we have a hundred non performing PSUs.

For every Bumrah we have a hundred Kumars.

It's a piss on our Janta. Stadiums are full to watch this tatti bowling. Innnocent Janta doesn't even know about the kind of frauds happening in TM.

India has 1.5 billion population. Chance of a small town getting international match is very low. So watch what is available

So moral of the match is need to recall Kumar, Chahal & Rahane?

But in all seriousness the bowling is a massive issue. Staggering that will all the money and fame on offer, the IPL has not uncovered one quality bowler or even one who specialises in the death overs.

They all wilt and crack under any pressure.

Agarkar to blame...  He is doing a terrible job.  Pace attack is lol worthy we all knew before the series.  All low quality seamers...  Prasidh was never a T20 bowler.

Sai Kishore was brilliant in Asian Games yet dropped.

Next Gen pacers are not being developed in  last 4 years.

Not looking good for pace bowlers. Prasidh was beyond poor and worrying thing he was in the WC squad. Even shardul in WC squad shows lack of bowling talent.
Rohit kohli don’t play have quality batsmen still but bumrah don’t play and bowling looks very weak. Even Siraj other than with new ball his old ball bowling is not very good.

As seen its bowlers that win you world cups more often than not so really need to find bowlers

All you morons were saying India would have murdered AUS in batting paradise in WC world cup. Here's your response.

Jadeja, Kuldeep, Siraj were canon fodder and would have been the same in WC final.

Fools never learn that it is in the management and coaching itself at fault.

You cannot coach a loser to become a winner overnight.

Same way you cannot make Shunya Kumar Yadav an ODI great with limited skills.

They had 4 years to prepare for world cup and that moron Rohit Sharma played pretty much the same team as 2019 WC. That's the reality of the shamefulness of Indian fans not questioning things.

They brought Ashwin back instead of building Sundar for this world cup.

Jaiswal/Gill

Kohli

Kishan(wkt)

SKY

Tilak

Hardik

Rinku

Shami

Arshdeep

Bishnoi

Bumrah

Perfect 11. Rinku coming at 7 allows the batsman to play fearlessly inspite of 2-3 early wickets. Get over your obsession of playing Axar or Jadeja at 7. These are pseudo batsman and not of any use. You need a clutch six hitter there.

And then choose 4 best bowlers. Hardik and Tilak to complete 5th bowler role. Tilak can bowl off spin so forget about Ashwin now. No point going to Ashwin at last moment everytime in a World tournament.

This is so true. Even if we keep winning with one individual brilliance and 10 guys suck, there will be no changes just for the sake of winning combination. There is no concept of critical thinking or staying a step ahead in these time-pass coaches ike Dravid or VVS's teams.

I was thinking along the same line.  However, there could be another scenario that losing bilateral series could force our TM and selectors to go back to oldies like Vada Pav & Coolie for the T20WC.  That could prove to be catastrophic.

Good point.   However, the bitter reality is 'Glass Sundar' remains unavailable most of the time due to injury.  One month before the WC, he got badly injured while fielding (in a very unathletic manner) in one of the Asian Games.
