Has to be Gill and Jaiswal. Rohit can be outside chance due to approach he showed in WC. But he's been poor in WT20s

Obviously he is not a captain-level player. he is fine, can bat quite decently. one of a glut of top order consolidators: gill, gaekwad, kela (when he opens), sudharshan, padikkal, even jasiwal to an extent outside T20s.

My contention is that he is still early in his career and can improve, and as such, it is too early to dismiss him outright.

Ruturaj needs to accelerate after first 5 deliveries and not 20 . We lost the match due to him wasting the early chance for a full onslaught .

And Tilak Varma's SR was poor for someone batting in the death overs. But, the biggest reason this match was lost was sub-par bowling/fielding/keeping in overs 19 (Axar) and 20 (Prasidh).

Bhai, one humble request. Please don't use "greatest" word even in sarcastic manner, our team is no way greatest and best in the world.

 

Likes of Jaiswal, Gill, Tilak, Rinku are good players and has high potential. But having potential is one thing & developing into something useful is another, which these players are still some years behind.
