KS Bharat is the most cruel joke being played on Indian Cricket by Rohit-Dravid

Last time an Indian batsman or WK-Batsman who played 10 innings in Subcontinent and didn't score a single 50 was Kiran More in late 80s.

This is the travesty this <think the worst abuse you can think of> Rohit-Draaafid combo has put us under.

While there are 100s of loathsome decisions they have made, this one is in the league of itself.

Yeah at least MS was near God level in India, this guy's a *ing spud :nevermind:

Even Saha scored a 50 in his 3rd innings. This guy is the biggest dud with the bat in last 3 decades. Already 30+ so not even a chance he will come good. But then his only purpose is to keep the backdoor open for Kela when he fails as a batsman.

Batter with a very low ceiling.  His keeping skills are not exceptionally good either.   If he fails in 2nd inning, should be dropped.   D Juerel is waiting.

Agree but he will not be dropped until Pant comes back. Only chance of that happening is if KL fails as batsman 5-6 innings.

He is another example that our coach & selectors have no idea of the domestic talents.

Pant is injured & Kishan is a moron..this was the time to give chances to likes of Upendra Yadav, Dinesh Bana or Kumar Kushagra (Jurel is already on bench).

Add to that Akshay Wadkar, Vidharba captain suppoed to be consistently good keeper and batted well in crises for years 50 plus average in FC. He wasn't even in Kiran More camp last year which is surprising. Should be the A team keeper

Comparing Ben Foakes' catch to dismiss Iyer to Bharat's drop against grandpa Anderson; the stark reality stares us in the face. A pommie keeper who hasn't kept on such wickets to spin bowlers executes better than an Indian keeper who literally learnt to walk on these wickets and is found lacking.

Even Wridhiman Saha is a big upgrade over him.

Saha as a pure test wicket-keeper is one of the best ever that I have seen. And a consummate team-guy.

When Pant went down, they should've brought him back into the 15-member squad at least as a mentor for these other guys. Unfortunately, selectors' and fans' judgement is clouded by IPL batting performances etc. Even on this board, the guy was ridiculed to no end.

As much as we want to be excited about Jurel and the other Yadav guy and a bunch of others, there's just not enough evidence that they are ready. Pant's accident has set this team back by a lot more than we will ever know.

saha was a fine keeper, a true kirmani-like player. great keeper, unexpectedly solid batter.

I saw his WK keeping skills today, they were not that great either. He was missing simple takes. The pitch was not even turning but he was missing simple takes.

He stands too far for fast bowlers on this slow wicket.
