Ambani lobby does not want him to miss IPL with an injury at any cost- to any sane person 10 days is enough break for a fast bowler between tests but obv for BCCI IPL takes priioirty.

So our pacers will be Mukesh and who..?

our legengry trio: MAA. Mukesh, arsedeep, avesh marshal khan.

I dont consider Bumrah to be overbowled at all. In a standard test match of standard team structure, we expect a pacer to be able to bowl at least 40 overs through both innings. Overbowling is when you consistently clock in 25-30 overs an innings as a pacer - something that happened to Kapil, Walsh, Ambrose, etc. Bumrah hasnt been overbowled as of yet.

It'd not alot when you have e a partner to share load. When a moron like Mukesh is your partner then you need 200 days rest.

If shami or siraj or anyone good like aksh deep from A tour played then sure no need for rest.

He isn't a machine, and Rohit has overbowled him to cover for his selection blunder, rest is justified. This is all on Rohit, Dravid.

Sensible strategy would be to go for a raging turner in Rajkot, rest Bumrah and then back to flattish pitches for final 2 tests with Bumrah back.

He only bowled 33 overs in this test which is not a very heavy workload for a fast bowler in a test match. Don't think he overbowled. 16 ovrs per innings is very low.

That is like 3 or 4 spells in a day , England lasted about 2.5 sessions each innings

In second innings of England bowled 5 overs day 3 and around 11/12 the next day. Day 2 he bowled like 16.

None of our bowlers bowled long spells to be fair.

Certainly D4 he was overworked as Rohit seemed jittery when our spinners were hit and he had to rely on Bumrah's breakthroughs. Everytime a wicket fell, Rohit was letting it all out.
