Already existing paternal dna pool was wiped out. When you look at the language, all European languages are indo-european which adds to the finding in the study. Only language that is not Indo-European is Basque. Kudos to Basque people for retaining their culture. But the crazy thing is when Yamnaya people reached India or South Asia, they did not wipe out the males. Atleast there is no evidence of it. They interbred with already existing people in South Asia and created modern day Indians. We don't know for sure... Science suggests inavsive species tend to be aggressive towards natives.. either they lost to natives and were pushed towards North West or Iran.. or they claimed decisive victory. Earliest battle in Hindi text Rigveda ... The battle of the ten Kings which suggests that losers were driven out to Iran or Persia too.

coffee_rules Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 @BacktoCricaddict When does science consider something as genetics or geneology perfect science like the Newton’s laws? There are millions of theories put forth in various journals and argued here as though it is cast in stone! Peer-reviewed science in archeo-genetics is as good as the people discussing it here. One guy puts forth a theory and proves it with limited sample size and we all agree it is true until the next guy proves it differently with different sample . Real McCoy 1

One guy puts forth a theory and proves it with limited sample size and we all agree it is true until the next guy proves it differently with different sample . There is no such thing as perfect science. There are no dogmas or absolutes. I would even go so far as to say that even Newton's "laws" are not infallible. After all, quantum physics was developed to explain phenomena at the subatomic level that don't "obey" Newton's principles. But, it cannot be a bunch of internet warriors who would bring it down. After years or decades of observations, hypotheses, painstaking and rigorous experiments using well-controlled methods, analysis of falfsifiable data, and conclusions that are consistent with a new paradigm, new laws could be proposed. Gene-data and genealogy are even more dynamic, and no one claims them to be as tight as gravity or thermodynamics. The reason, of course is that (a) the fossil record is being continuously updated by new excavations, (b) fossil dating methods are being upgraded. and (c) gene-analysis data are being upgraded. Knowledge is continuously being built, challenged and upgraded continuously. The scientists simply report their findings in scientific journals. If you read the original research articles, you will see a discussion of the most likely interpretation of their findings and also alternative explanations. There will also be a section describing limitations of their work. Peer-review by experts would mainly be to ensure that appropriate experimental methods were used and a comprehensive analysis was done in the context of current literature. Of course, things get twisted when these scientific findings are then distilled down and over-simplified by university marketing staff, journalists and internet warriors. So, while the science can stand on its own, the narratives are set outside the lab by non-scientists. Edited June 10, 2024 by BacktoCricaddict coffee_rules, Vicks57 and MechEng 1 2

If you have that much hatred towards South Indians, I suggest you cut your tongue out. Don't you know 'Dravida' in Sanskrit means land surrounded by water on three sides? My language and ancestry far predates some Brahmin and Hindu hating idealogy spouted by an insane man and carried forward by a drugs mafia who cloak their nefarious activities with political power.
