Next generation t20 players

I did not watch the match . How did so called great t20 players who missed out unfairly on playing World Cup do today. 
 

Kohli and Rohit never lost to Zimbabwe at least , geniuses who were whining about them taking  place of these youngsters. They were so sure they would replace the seniors just like that.

 

Loud mouth Parag , can’t miss Abhishek, how did they do?

Kohli & Rohit hv been losing ODI series in BD for quite a long time.    So, not too sure if they would hv done much yesterday.   Even with our full strength team, we hv never won an ODI series in BD since 2012.     BD pitches (except Chittagong) are quite similar to that of Harare.     So, this comparison is certainly not out of the place.  (In particular, Kohli's record in BD is terrible)

3 on debut, first series and all got a reality check including fans. Am sure they will get better in coming games. You have to give all of them this and SL series before commenting.

If I remember likes of Kohli and Rohit failed in WC 15 against Zimbabwe too... A miracle knock from Raina and Dhoni saved us from utter humiliation.

 

At least Parag and Abhishek didn't fail on a flat bed like Auckland.

There was nothing treacherous on that pitch no extra seam movement just not so called flat bed those who defending these players should go watch the dismissals specially Rituraj and Riyan Parag wickets. It’s good to back youngsters but calling someone who has test hundreds in Perth , Johannesberg,Egebaston  etc I think he has couple of hundreds in zim too . Looks like many here start watching cricket after 2020

Kohli scored the highest runs in SA tour on minefields, this is a walk in the park for the player who won MOTM in the finals

We have lost to Zim in 2010, 15, 16 as well. Multiple times even in same tour.

 

Kids will figure it out soon. Just replace the useless trundlers.
