Why are we playing the series against BAN?

Recommended Posts

Considering all of what has happened in the recent past(past two months), shouldn't BCCI or the Indian government have imposed a ban similar to that of Pakistan? Considering Pakistan was known for sponsoring terrorism as well as oppressing minorities. What difference is the situation over here? One has been happening for 70 years and one just started two months ago. Isn't it double standards? BCCI and the Indian government banned bilateral ties to Pakistan, but when Hindus are getting murdered in Bangladesh, they don't impose the same principle? Isn't that double standards?

I have boycotted the series. I will not watch it. I am promoting the boycott on SM. Start from home first.

The ruling dispension is hand-in-glove with the treatment of Hindus. There are Bangles cricket players who support the Islamic radicalization and will not sing the National Anthem because it is written by a Kaffir.

If these India cricket BOZOS can take the knee for BLM, they can at least wear black armands. Facking idiots.

Pakistan runs state sponsored terrorism against India and Indians.

Bangladesh has internal instability leading to a civil war like situation, with crimes committed against minority groups like Hindus and Christians. While this is unfortunate, this still has nothing to do with India, so the Indian govt can only offer outside support.

The Indian govt only cares about safety of Indian citizens. They are not guardians of Hindus globally.

The OP's claim is similar to Tamils asking why we are playing against Sri Lanka when SL govt committed war crimes against Tamil civilians during the killing of LTTE leaders.

There were ethnic Tamils in SL and all over SE Asia for 100s of years. Don't compare this situation with Bengalis. Bengali Hindus are a result of Congress giving up land to Muslims and those were left out due to partition. India is responsible for their safety due to its leaders' fault. Not asking to invade BD, at least chastize their government to take action and safeguard the interests of minorities. Cricketers can use their soft power, if they can take a knee for an totally distant cause, this cause is at least closer to home. But BCCI and our cricketers can't be bothered. Facking pansies.

Never said that. Tamils are living on n SL for centuries, SL was not governed as one unit / one people (Indian) by the British. From a civilizational pov, SL or Sinhala was not part of Bharat. Bengal was united by land, there are Bengalis across the land living as one and were portioned in 1947. Hence the distinction between Tamils living in SL and Bengali Hindus living in present Bangladesh.

That has been since ages.

Series Pakistan was banned was mostly due to terror attacks on our soil, else they have been commiting crimes on their minorities since ages, we (the Govt) never raised any voice on that and were happily playing series with them and inviting them to play bilaterals.
