Autonomous
Think he batted well in 1st inns Link to comment
putrevus
I think we have to take good Pant with bad Pant. Similar stumping was missed by Tim Paine both in Sydney and Gabba. Edited November 24 by putrevus raki05, Norman, Manucrick and 4 others 2 3 2 Link to comment
Serpico
India was in driver's seat, he was allowed to play his game. He charged to pat Cummins in first innings when we were four down for nothing Lord 1 Link to comment

Dump this in the bin please before others see your mistake Luckily, his casual way of gifting the wicket has not cost us the game. But his lack of match awareness should be criticized. Especially coz he is such a game changer in this format of the game. New guy 1 Link to comment

Just skills Yes, mostly skills. His batting v spin was superior at Sydney. Gabba had contributions from many other players and it was one of the greatest team performance. Pant didn't win it alone. Number
Remember same thing he did in WTC 2021 Finals. Had he batted 30 minutes more, we would have drawn the game and had shared an ICC trophy. Edited November 24 by Number Norman 1 Link to comment

He is game changer due to similar approach only Here we were in comfortable position and he tried to go in extra gear. That is good awareness but poor execution only. In tight situations like 50-4 our top order gets into regularly, he plays differently. Link to comment

Just that he took extra risk today due to comfortable position. Gabba he steered the chase from a tough situation . Cant be done without match awareness. BacktoCricaddict 1 Link to comment

What a reactionary post, india were in a very comfortable position and it was the perfect time to hit the accelerator with lots of batting to come He has played according to situation a million times in tests Link to comment

Man you guys are phattus. I remember you guys cursing and begging for draw when Pant was trying for a win at Gabba Thank god this team is not phattu like you guys and is going for win We literally got 3 wickets because we declared today instead of tomorrow while you guys would be begging to bat till tomorrow. Serpico
Actually I would say Pant's offside game is a bit lacking for an elite test player (think sanga/lara). If he played with caution, he would have been a decent batsman but it's his guts thats pushing him into the elite league. Whenever opposition dries up his runs by packing the slips and bowling off stump channel, he plays some outrageous shot and upsets their plan instead of meekly driving the ball into the slips Lord 1 Link to comment

Well, your post does make sense. It would have made more sense if u stop resorting to cheap/dirty tactics of troll voting someone's post. Especially when that post is appreciating your fav player.
