Quite likely, behind the closed doors US may have forced both countries to go for ceasefire. Probably the loss of F-16 to S-400/Aakash Defence triggered them.
IMF loan was perhaps the turning point.
Hope we negotiate and get the best deal, China won't like it a bit for sure.

For the first time in my life I am seeing concrete action against Pak terror. The cost for Pak has to be like Operation Sindoor.

 

We should blast their navy right away. Destroy their remaining planes. Also hit Pak merchant shipping. 

Let them come begging for peace.

Agreed. But China wont happen. They want us to be their vassal state which won't happen. And China is also Pak backer along with US. So India has to just make itself strong. Get the chicken neck. Break Pak up but by bit. Amd secure our defences. Increase defence spending up to 6% of gdp. 

 

World war is coming in few years. Whether we like or not.

That's the silver lining in all of this.  Also We did get invaluable knowlege about such kind of  aerial warfare.

That's important...not easy being in line of fire.
Pak anyway will continue to struggle from internal threats.
BLA and TTP will keep on hitting them, we should fund covertly for the same. IWT wise too lets just continue to choke them.

They couldn’t defeat a bunch of uppity shepherds in Afghanistan. We really don’t need them to broker peace.

I hope the government and the budget approvers understand the crucial role of the Air Force. We need more orders for the best aircraft fleet ASAP.

Sometimes, war is the answer.

Lets be realistic. There are no 'defence ties' that can be made with the EU. They've hollowed out their military and defence manufacturing. They are and have been US vassals. And they are going to stay that way. 

 

REality is that the EU's geography, demography, energy and raw materiel capacities, industrial base all of it guarantees that they are going to continue their slow decline. 

 

Russia was a superpower, now its a has-been and the Ukraine war has enfeebled them even more.

 

CHina is our adversary, and we have to smartly use temporary alliances and partnerships with everybody else to catch up and counter them. And that includes the US, Europe and Russia.

 

We have already achieved our objectives for Op Sindoor. And then some. We have dominated and humiliated the PakMil.  Continuing the 'war' is not a favorable cost/benefit calculation at this time.  Tell me what we would gain next in order to accept a ceasefire?  why continue to endanger further civilian lives killed in shelling across the LoC?

 

Our leaders have handled this crisis with impressive calm and judgement.  They have accepted the ceasefire. They know what they are doing.  Let's set our emotions and desire for vengeance aside.

US is the reason what Pakistan is currently, a mercenary.
They used Pakistan as their lapdog to counter USSR during Cold War. Now that dog has gone rogue along with CHina and is biting back it's owners.
But US knows one thing, they can always bend Pakistan by twisting its neck....difficult to do in India.

we didn't need them. The Pakistani ran to them.  Just like after Kargil.
