Winning a final , that too against Australia of all teams , that was least expected. Well done SA.

Build a statue for Lord Bavuma outside Cape Town stadium, hero of this cycle. 

 

He may have an average of only 38-39, but on spicy home pitches that is a great feat. Always scores clutch runs for his team. Multiple vital contributions when their backs were against the wall last home season, and here in the big final in both innings, one of them on one leg.  

 

Markram with probably the most memorable 4th innings 100 since Lara's 153* against Aussies in 1999, Barbados. Rate it above Kusal Perera's 150 because of the occasion. 

 

Rabada well, a heroic 9fer here, despite Aussies being ahead of the game most of the time. Greatest test pacer post Steyn, and will be in the GOAT race by the time he hangs up his boots.
