Siraj is playing for many years ,Prasiddh is playing his 4th test.

 

Siraj should have been as reliable as Bumrah by now,but he still bowls like a newbie.

Siraj has been playing for much longer. Absolutely dogshit in al formats, all conditions now.

Prasidh due to less experience hence higher economy rate.

 

I would prefer Akashdeep and Arshdeep.

 

Akashdeep stick to his steady line and length.

 

Arshdeep with new ball with his accurate swing, can be a good defensive bowler using his t20 skills when batsman are going for it like they were today.

Siraj is as mediocre as it gets. Been hanging around for years yet shown zero improvement in bowling, temperament or thinking.

 

The fact he is the main seamer after Bumrah is a pathetic indictment on the standard/poverty of Ind bowling.

Siraj was bit unlucky so far.  He hasn't been terrible.

Both. There should be option to select both.

 

I respect Siraj for his spells in Gabba 2020, Lords 2021 and Newlands 2023. He has become terrible now.

Yeah, this bowling attack has become a joke! One guy gets in on mediocre but mercurial quota, another gets in on middle aged but promising quota, another gets in on past it but fighting spirit quota but all of them lay eggs! This sorry bunch is playing for the opposition it looks like.

There isn't any proper planning to groom the fast bowlers.

 

Its merry go round--sometime Mukesh plays, sometime Akashdeep. Then Harshit gets a game and later Prasidh gets recalled. Now Arshdeep is in reckoning.

He is a feast or famine. There is no body in India that can run in all day and bowl in Tests like him. So he is the most necessary evil in our bowling set up.

Apart from the fact that every over there 3 balls on the pads …  that gets tucked away to third man or midwicket ..
