Unreal hate campaign/PR against Bumrah: does India deserve mavericks?

Things have gone so bad now that Sachin, Ashwin, Bhogle are having to chime in and defend Bumrah. I do hope more right thinking Indian fans support Bumrah, send their love/wishes etc. But it shouldn't even come down to this.

Yeah saw lot of negative tweets from Kohli fans on X not sure what the gripe is between bumrah and kohli fans.. They abuse Bumrah at any given opportunity. Pathetic retards

Bumrah is a star player in this team and the broadcasters would want to maximize the eyeballs through his presence. So him missing 1 or 2 matches every series is not sitting well with them and might have raised this issue with the BCCI.

So I believe this is concerted effort by the BCCI to defame him if he doesn't fall in line with thier demands and as usual Gavaskar chamcha is their first line of attack against him.

Primarily triggered by fanbases of Rohit and Kohli with their fear mounting, for all right reasons, that their ODI retirement is imminent. Gambhir and Agarkar will be emboldened by the Eng series performance and will soon start sending signals.

As the lunatic fanbase cannot attack Gambhir or Gill right now, these idiots have found an easy target in Bumrah

It's so heartbreaking to see folks like Gavaskar taking shots at Bumrah despite him being our best bowler in the Tests he played. These same piece of shytes never uttered a word against likes of Kohli and Rohit despite them not performing for ages and costing us series home and away. Extremely disappointing that the MVP who's better than any batter we ever had is treated in this manner.

And these same phuckers never said anything about Kohli picking and choosing his series, or Rohit conveniently opting out of away series entirely, and these to phucking it up when they did play. Yet silence from all and sundry including the same senile Gavaskar and other cronies.

Mutiple players have been using Pr and by extension the fan base to remain in the team or influence their selection. Kolhi, rohit, sanju, dhoni etc.

Not following this episode but its a general trend now.Constant pressure frm  Kolhi's and Rohit's pr and fanbase made sure that both were treated equally you can not drop one and leave other in the team.

rohit used pr incase of his fallout with mi, he could have easily tweeted that he welcomes pandya as mi captain but he knew it was not just about captaincy but about an ipl contract and other major thing.

Sanju's fanbase/pr constantly targets pant to influence saju's selection, think chetan sharma then head of selection committee also said something on similar lines.

No one can criticize dhoni, even saying its a customary caught behind can have his pr and fanbase chasing ..

Pant, Jaiswal and Bumrah have been the biggest victims of lack of PR and other players' PR agenda. No matter what they do, they're the first to be criticized despite being the standout players in the team. Poor Jaiswal can't even get into shorter format teams despite being the best opener going around!

Bumrah should be the last one anyone should be targeting. He has been nothing but professional and high-achieving throughout his career. With his unique action, he tends to break down more often than other fast bowlers, but when he's on his game, there is no one like him.

It is not his fault that bowlers like Siraj have been overshadowed unfairly by his successes. One can say Siraj is under-rated and praise him for his achievements without putting another guy down. Success is not a zero-sum game.

yeah criticizing is okay but not targeting. bcci should have clamped on it directly asking these player to stop using pr , but again you never know these pr/fanbase can start targeting bcci then.
