News that he is stable and recovering

Strange. Saw big media houses like India Today, ABP, Times Now break this news.

Get well soon Dharamji aka Garam Dharam.

I used to enjoy his films a lot. But now feel that most of the action films of 70s have not aged as well as I would have liked mainly because the action and score have come a long way now that the old dishum dishum (a scenes with barrels around is common in those films) and “dhan tan tan” score don’t cut in that well. Usually, 70s action films with special elements stand out now.

Dharamji’s acting also feels limited at times but he shines in comedy. Films like Chupke Chupke, Sholay (again he shines in comedy), etc., remain evergreen. His “angry man” performance in Yadoon Ki Baraat is solid too.

Ram Balram is a decent watch if watched with realistic expectations. Amitabh’s (similar to Dharmrndra where he does well in action and comedy) generally monotonous acting makes Dharamendra’s performance appear relatively better, if I recall correctly.

His iconic dialogue -- "Kutte kaminee mai theraa khoon peejaaoongaa.."

He had that charisma...even Sunny Deol has some iconic dialogue's

"Ye dhai kilo ka haath, jab kisi pe padta hai...toh aadmi uthta nahi, uth jaata hai"

Scene from movie 'Loha'.

Tumhari yeh goli lohe ke is sharir paar nahi ja sakti

He says this dialogue after he puts his hand up and catches the bullet which Rami Reddy shoots from his gun.

MSM had killed him in their hunger for TRPs :hysterical:

Most underrated superstar. Got typecasted as 'Garam Dharam' despite being a good looking versatile actor.
